Firefly Acres is a combination of dreams between the two of us. Bambi worked in the Hotel Restaurant and Catering Business for years, and Pete has trained and worked with horses his whole life. We decided to combine those talents into one farm, as we love people and love to work together. At Firefly Acres it is our goal to 'Bring People and their Dreams together'. Come relax at our farm, it will be a memory that lasts!
Bambi Dillingham purchased this cabin in 2010
We love the climate and rolling mountains of middle Tennessee. We looked for the 'perfect' spot for four years and finally found it here at Firefly Acres!
Relaxing in the Hot Tub while watching horses and nature, enjoying the quiet environment.
Me and my husband stayed here for our anniversary weekend. The cabin was very clean and cozy. It had everything we needed. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. Their property is beautiful. Their is a beautiful view from the back balcony. We will be going back to stay.
Lovely location and decorated so nicely! We stayed in this cabin and in The Game Room and loved them both. Host and Hostess are very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend Firefly Acres!
My family just returned from a week's stay in the Fish Camp cabin at Fire Fly Acres. The welcome we recieved from Pete and Bambi was warm, friendly and heart felt. The cabin was warm and inviting. The cabin had a well equipped kitchen and beds that could compete with our beds at home.
We must thank Pete for allowing our grandson (age 4) to ride Saint. Pete was kind and encouraging but thorough with his instructions. Our grandson was so thrilled with his experience that he asked if he could have riding lessons.
For those who love nature, Fire Fly Acres is conveniently located near at least four of Tennessee's beautiful state parks with breathtaking views. Our party ranged in age from 52 to 4 and the parks offered something from every age group.
For those who just want a quite get away, Fire Fly Acres is a peaceful, calming place where you can sit on the back porch or at the pavillion and watch the butterflies and hummingbirds busy at work. As the day ends you can watch the sun go down and look up to nothing but stars. Let nature be your wake up call with the sounds of horses in the surrounding pastures and birds and wild turkeys in the woods.
If the grounds don't take your breath away, the hospitality and accommodation will! Waking up each morning to the peacefulness of nature and being able to sit on the balcony to enjoy the horses was wonderful. There was so much to do, that we never left the grounds. I was reluctant to leave to go pick up ice! All of the cabins are colorfully decorated with the cutest touches. The extras from Mrs. Bambi were very appealing, like the bath and body works supplies put out for us to use. Thank you Mr. Pete for allowing our little ones to saddle up and ride pumpkin. The pavilion is a great place for any event, but was fun for us while the rain poured down - to sit by the fireplace and enjoy. As a photographer, this would be a perfect setting for a wedding, family reunion, graduation party, etc. We will definitely be returning!?
