The Lodge sits just a few feet from the shores of Lake Champlain ! With 195’ feet of private pristine lake front you have space to spread out and enjoy your space. There's a dock for tying off your boat and large deck and patio overlooking the views of the lake and the Green Mountains of Vermont. You'll actually look forward to waking up in the morning to see the beautiful sunrises over the lake and the background sounds of the waves gently coming to the shore.

This Lodge has more than doubled in size with the completion of a new addition in July of 2011. It is ideal for a large family or consider bringing a second family along to share the expense because there are 2 master bedrooms along with a 3rd and 4th bedroom and three baths for your privacy.

Enjoy the oversized wrap around deck and stone patio in the summer time and enjoy the warmth of the fireplace and gas woodstove in the winter as this is a beautiful 4 season Lodge !

IT IS ADVISED TO ALL INTERESTED PARTIES TO SECURE YOUR LEASE IN A TIMELY MANNER TO NOT JEOPARDIZE LOSING YOUR DATES OF CHOICE. RESERVATIONS ARE GRANTED ON A FIRST-COME-FIRST SERVED BASIS. I'm sorry for taking this action but there have been broken promises and assurances from renters in the past.
  • The holiday weeks of New Year's, President's Week, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas all have a $500 surcharge added to the above listed rates. Long weekends of up to 3 nights may be available at $1,750 during the off peak seasons, but not during holiday weeks. While we are pet friendly, there is a $150 surcharge for pets.

Hello,

I am a producer based in NYC and I rented this amazing property with my crew to shoot a music video.
The house is beautiful and it overcomes the expectations you have from the pictures, it is breathtaking.
The manager of the house was wonderful and always available to help or make every wish come true.
Unfortunately we worked for our 4 days stay and we couldn't relax too much, but after wrap at night sitting outside on the terrace with that wonderful vies gave us the peace and joy we needed.
I am definitely planning to go back for some vacation.

Perfect place for a vacation

We rented this place for four nights to meet-up with college friends. Though the minimum stay here is a week, the owner was nice enough to give us a reasonably reduced price for four nights. First thing I wanna say is, the description in the listing was spot-on. The lodge is perfect to enjoy boating/canoeing/kayaking on lake champlain and also offers a peaceful and calm setting to relax and watch the sunset and sunrise across the lake. The lodge is clean and well-maintained with comfy couches, air-conditioning, plenty of utensils, quality mattresses and an awesome washer/dryer. There are plenty of other things I liked about the place. To name a few, big screen LCD TV, big bedrooms, fireplace and a grill. Apart from boating, we found biking trails nearby in Plattsburg, and also did river-rafting and adventure courses in adirondacks. I've already recommended the place to couple of my friends here and would strongly recommend this for a group of friends or family members looking to have a fun vacation.

Our summer retreat

My family and I recently stayed at Shades of Green Cottage..it was a very enjoyable stay. This well-maintained cottage provides the necessities that are needed but stil has that "camping by the lake" feel to it. What I loved most about it was the privacy. The amount of property between the camp and the neighbors allows for much privacy. It is a rocky waterfront but the flat rocks provide plenty of space for your lounging chairs to view the beautiful water front and amazing sunrise over the lake in the early morning I would definately stay there again and do recommend it for a nice vacation stay. Also, I have to compliment the property manager who went out of his way to accommodate us.
Recommended for:  Pet-friendly, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway
