A fabulous west side Rancho Santa Fe Covenant single story California Ranch-style renovated home with amazing views over the Rancho Santa Fe golf course and through the valley situated on a private 1.75 acres. This 5,000 sq. ft. home has 5 bedrooms and 4 baths, hardwood floors throughout, a new gourmet kitchen and an excellent floor plan centered around an open spacious family room that opens out to pool area with sun welcoming exposure.
Formal living room with golf course views and fireplace. Formal dining room that seats up to 12. Kitchen has sub zero refrigerator/freezer, double ovens, warming drawer, microwave, cook top, wine cooler, beverage chiller, dishwasher and two separate sinks with garbage disposal. Kitchen table seats 6 comfortably and kitchen bar also seats up to 6. Adjoining family room has pool table that can be converted to a ping pong table, amazing 100 gallon salt water fish tank, bar, large plasma flat screen, a second TV with full dish and game console and fireplace.
Master bedroom has French doors that open to a patio overlooking the golf course, king size bed, large flat screen TV, walk-in closet and master bath with shower and large soaking tub and flat screen TV. Second bedroom has a queen size bed and golf course views and a full private bathroom across the hall that has been newly renovated. Third bedroom has two single beds and golf course views. Fourth bedroom has a single bed and french doors that open onto a private pool and patio area. The third and fourth bedrooms share a newly renovated bathroom with huge shower. Fifth bedroom is a very large room with two double beds and a seating area with sofa, love seat, Flat screen TV/Stereo and private bathroom with shower.
Large outdoor pool with diving board and Jacuzzi/hot tub. Yard includes multiple gardens and a fruit orchard with lemons, limes, oranges, mandarins, grapefruit, fig and avocado tress.
This is a private home for our family of 5. We rent it because we travel extensively during holidays and in particular during the summer school break.

A great vacation had by all! We are an extended family of ten, aged 71 to 12. This home was comfortable and the floor plan really allows for the outdoors to feel like another room in the house. We watched hot air balloons glide by each evening as we sat on the patio, enjoying the Southern California breezes. From swimming in the pool and lounging in the spa to playing pool and shuffleboard, there is always something to do! Feeding the eel and fish was a treat! This house is well appointed with modern amenities and is beautifully decorated. The house is centrally located to area attractions. As much as we enjoyed visiting the Zoo, Cabrillo Park, Legoland, Coronado and Balboa Park, it was always nice to return to this lovely home for an afternoon and evening of total relaxation.
This home is a perfect vacation spot. The layout of the house was perfect for our 3 family vacation. Each family had a wonderful area and then the public areas were fantastic. The optionally fenced pool (we chose fenced with children 5,4,3,2,1) and spa were beautiful, catching sun all day. The family room/kitchen is perfect for social time. Social time was basically 7am to 2am because of the beautiful ping pong table that was an added amenity that was fantastic. The home is clean, well maintained and educational. The kids loved getting to know the salt water eel and fish and getting to care for them!
The service personnel from pool/spa, housekeeper and greatest of all babysitter were all absolutely classy and attentive whenever we called.
A great vacation spot! Highly recommended!
