Situated on Uthlid farm in south iceland an hour from Reykjavik. 5 min drive to Geysir. 10 mins to Gullfoss and Laugavatn. 30 min drive to Thingvellir. 2.5 hour drive to Landmannalaugar and Snaefellsnes. 3.5 hrs to Skaftafell. 4 to Jokulsarlon. Views of Hekla volcano, Myrdalsjokull and Eyjafjallajokull glacier. Farm has restaurant, swimming pool, horseback riding, hiking trails, store, gas pump and 9-hole golf course.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Holiday periods between December 18-January 8 and April 16-30 are $1,170/wk
  • A deposit of 50% of the total amount of the rental is required to confirm your reservation. If we have not received your deposit within 14 days of the date of your inquiry, your reservation will be cancelled.

    There is a 50% cancellation fee on the total rental for cancellations made more than 60 days prior to your arrival date. There is a 100% cancellation fee on the total rental for cancellations made 60 days or less prior to your arrival date. If we are able to re-rent the cottage for the entire rental period, there will be no cancellation fee, but a 10% administration fee will apply on the total rental. No deposits will be refunded unless a replacement rental is obtained.
