Welcome to Villa Camilla. Here it's endless summer. Slow your pace, indulge your dreams and float in crystal-clear Caribbean waters or in our HEATED POOL. You've discovered a piece of paradise fronted by one of the world's most pristine beaches -- Grace Bay. Set amongst more than 6 acres of native tropical gardens and with 325 feet of beachfront, Villa Camilla is one of the largest and last remaining private beachfront properties along this world famed, 12-mile stretch of beach.

Just across the dunes, you'll find fine, sugar white sand and water so turquoise it doesn't seem real. And the coral reef that begins nearby just off shore teems with colorful tropical fish. Don your mask and snorkel in glorious Princess Alexandra Marine Park. Or enjoy any of the island's many activities, nightlife, restaurants, and other adventures, all nearby to Villa Camilla.

Villa Camilla is a sun-filled beach residence with a handsome, two-story gate leading into a soaring atrium that connects all rooms. A wrought iron spiral staircase leads to the spacious second story living room, dining room, kitchen and decks. As you reach the top of the staircase, you cannot help but gasp at the beautiful view…khaki sea grasses dotting low rolling dunes and a wide, brilliantly white beach that slips softly into a turquoise bay so serene you can hardly tell where it meets the sky.

On Villa Camilla's east deck, you can enjoy morning coffee in the sun or read in the shade in the afternoon. The large deck on the west just off the living room is ideal for dining and lounging and watching Provo's magnificent sunsets with rum punch in hand.

For restful nights or afternoon naps, Villa Camilla offers 3 spacious air-conditioned bedrooms each with its own en suite bath and secluded deck. For your comfort, the master bedroom is equipped with a king bed and the other two bedrooms may be configured at your request as either kings or twins.

For additional sleeping, also consider renting one or both of Villa Camilla's guest house units, which have one bedroom/one bath. Why The Owner chose Providenciales - Provo

We first came to TCI in February, 1985 just after the first road was built from the airport to the newly opened Club Med. Up until then, we'd always felt that there were so many beautiful Caribbean islands that there was no reason ever go to the same island twice. Providenciales changed all that! By the end of our visit, we were already planning a return in June. It was then that we realized that we had to own a piece of this beautiful island. Nowhere had we seen such beautiful turquoise water, sand as fine as sugar, or such friendly people. These same things have kept us returning for more than 25 years!

What makes this house unique

We love the space and privacy that Villa Camilla gives us as well as the short walk -- 1 minute -- across our property to the beach with the best snorkeling just next door. The villa is set among 5 acres of tropical gardens and we have 325' of beachfront at our doorstep! We always feel that the stretch of beach in front of Villa Camilla is reserved only for us and for guests at Villa Camilla, even though all beaches on Provo are public.

We love wandering through the garden seeing what's in bloom at the moment-- wild orchids, beach plum, cactuses, different palms. And because of the greenery around us, we're a magnet for birds, including humming birds.

Breakfast and lunch on the deck are wonderful, but nothing compares to watching the sunset from the west desk with rum punch in hand! Then if we're not cooking that night, it's off to one of Provo's many excellent restaurants, none more than a 5 to 10-minute drive away.

A Perfect Week at Villa Camilla

We had a wonderful
time and either a grebe or juvenile heron visited us at the pool. I especially
loved being in what felt like a tree house within a tropical botanical
garden. Arriving was magical - coming in through a canopied
tunnel. We actually didn't leave except for a promised ice cream
treat for the children. Everyone was so kind and helpful and we felt well cared for between being met on our arrival and the goodbye. The five year old, was
invited to stay many times. With the children, having the pool and
then then beach in walking distance, was perfect. The house has everything one could need with many separate areas for just looking out at the amazing view. We walked down the beach to restaurants. We are definitely headed back.

My husband and I just spent an exquisite week at Villa Camilla celebrating our babymoon. The house is stunning - particularly its gorgeous vistas of Grace Bay, amazing tropical gardens, proximity to the beach, incredible private pool (a true oasis!), spacious layout, fresh breezes, and sense of privacy.

Upon arrival at the Provo airport, the house manager met us and oriented us to the island and home, which was pristine and well-stocked with towels and kitchen essentials. We thoroughly enjoyed sunsets on the deck (as well as the house-recommended recipe for rum punch (rum-free for me!!)). For those who like to cook, we recommend the grill on the spacious deck. The nearest supermarket is about a five minute drive from Villa Camilla, making it quite convenient to stock up on food and drink!

Though somewhat limited in activity levels due to pregnancy, while in Provo, we enjoyed long walks along and swims in Grace Bay and the Villa Camilla pool, a trek to Malcolm Beach and the North Point National Park, a trip to Bugaloo's in Five Cays, the Concha Wonka tour (including Conch Farm, Cultural Center, and Conch Shack), and a lovely snorkel cruise aboard the Atabeyra. We also enjoyed outstanding cuisine; among our favorites: Hemingway's, the Sunday night beach barbeque at the Seven Stars resort, the Tiki Hut, Somewhere, the Beach House, and Magnolia (phenomenal!!). For afternoon drinks (non-alcoholic for me!), we enjoyed Somewhere, the bar at the Gansevoort (ask for Desmond), and the Villa Camilla deck.

We loved our time at this beautiful home and on this special island, and only wish we had been able to stay longer. We look forward to returning in the not-too-distant future with our little one in tow!! Cannot recommend highly enough - magnificent in all respects. Villa Camilla is a true gem!

What a fantastic and painless vacation - no fuss, no worries. Having a private pool was such a gift - best snorkeling on island steps away from back door - then into the pool for more relaxation. We were met at the airport by rental car service and house manager, Charlene, that took us directly to the house.

Everything we needed was in the house. Every room has a deck. Morning coffee and afternoon happy hours were serene and lovely from the main deck. Wonderful restaurants 2 min walk on the beach from the house. The privacy and grounds of the home are splendid and well kept. We will definitely return to this rental! Our party of 4- all of whom are well traveled, greatly appreciated this vacation home.
