Overview

Providenciales - Provo House Rental Photos and Description

House, 3 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, (Sleeps 6)

Welcome to Villa Camilla. Here it's endless summer. Slow your pace, indulge your dreams and float in crystal-clear Caribbean waters or in our HEATED POOL. You've discovered a piece of paradise fronted by one of the world's most pristine beaches -- Grace Bay. Set amongst more than 6 acres of 25-year-old tropical gardens and with 325 feet of beachfront, Villa Camilla is one of the largest and last remaining private beachfront properties along this world famed, 12-mile stretch of beach.

Just across the dunes, you'll find fine, sugar white sand and water so turquoise it doesn't seem real. And the coral reef that begins nearby just off shore teems with colorful tropical fish. Don your mask and snorkel in glorious Princess Alexandra Marine Park. Or enjoy any of the island's many activities, nightlife, restaurants, and other adventures, all nearby to Villa Camilla.

Villa Camilla is a sun-filled beach residence with a handsome, two-story gate leading into a soaring atrium that connects all rooms. A wrought iron spiral staircase leads to the spacious second story living room, dining room, kitchen and decks. As you reach the top of the staircase, you cannot help but gasp at the beautiful view…khaki sea grasses dotting low rolling dunes and a wide, brilliantly white beach that slips softly into a turquoise bay so serene you can hardly tell where it meets the sky.

On Villa Camilla's east deck, you can enjoy morning coffee in the sun or read in the shade in the afternoon. The large deck on the west just off the living room is ideal for dining and lounging and watching Provo's magnificent sunsets with rum punch in hand.

For restful nights or afternoon naps, Villa Camilla offers 3 spacious air-conditioned bedrooms each with its own en suite bath and secluded deck. For your comfort, the master bedroom is equipped with a king bed and the other two bedrooms may be configured at your request as either kings or twins.

For additional sleeping, also consider renting one or both of Villa Camilla's guest house units, which have one bedroom/one bath. The upper-unit has dramatic water and sunset views and a sleeping loft so sleeps up to four people. See VRBO property #335410 The lower, one bedroom unit offers water views.

The vacation memories of a lifetime await you at Villa Camilla.

Why Beth Sulak chose Providenciales - Provo

We first came to TCI in February, 1985 just after the first road was built from the airport to the newly opened Club Med. Up until then, we'd always felt that there were so many beautiful Caribbean islands that there was no reason ever go to the same island twice. Providenciales changed all that! By the end of our visit, we were already planning a return in June. It was then that we realized that we had to own a piece of this beautiful island. Nowhere had we seen such beautiful turquoise water, sand as fine as sugar, or such friendly people. These same things have kept us returning for more than 25 years!

What makes this house unique

We love the space and privacy that Villa Camilla gives us as well as the short walk -- 1 minute -- across our property to the beach with the best snorkeling just next door. The villa is set among 6 acres of mature tropical gardens and we have 325' of beachfront at our doorstep! We always feel that the stretch of beach in front of Villa Camilla is reserved only for us and for guests at Villa Camilla, even though all beaches on Provo are public.

We love wandering through the garden seeing what's in bloom at the moment-- wild orchids, beach plum, cactuses, different palms. And because of the greenery around us, we're a magnet for birds, including humming birds.

Breakfast and lunch on the deck are wonderful, but nothing compares to watching the sunset from the west desk with rum punch in hand! Then if we're not cooking that night, it's off to one of Provo's many excellent restaurants, none more than a 5 to 10-minute drive away.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Okay. Villa Camilla must be the closest place to paradise! What a beautiful, vibrant, and beyond relaxing island! Smith's Reef, Grace Bay Beach, and Taylor Beach have got to be some of the best spots in the world for snorkeling and sun * :) Cheers to the next lucky guest. You're gonna love it.

Perfect vacation!

  • 5 of 5

There is nothing bad to say about a vacation at the Villa Camilla. We were lucky enough to be there at the same time as the owners, Beth and Larry, who could not have been more welcoming!

The house is very comfortable and the pool is heaven. Although there is plenty to do and see around the island, you can also spend each day walking the beautiful Grace Bay Beach just outside your door, swimming in the ocean or lying by the pool. And nothing is better than being able to wake up, make a cup of coffee and watch the colors change as the sun rises from your private deck.

All of the staff there are wonderful, from the security guards, to the cleaning team, to the maintenance crew -- friendly and helpful. We felt very looked after.

Restaurants are only a short walk or drive away -- and the owner's left a great list of recommendations.

Can't wait to go back!

Clearly Paradise

  • 5 of 5

This was a wonderful vacation for me and my family. The house is so comfortable and accessible with privacy where needed and plenty of family space as well. The pool area is pretty and cool and comfortable. The owners have clearly made it a tropical garden. Their plantings all around the house are lovely and especially around the pool area. The house is well equipped. We cooked many meals as well as going out to the many fine restaurants on the island. The BBQ is handy. The beach is a short walk through the property and it is a gorgeous beach and the water is the clearest you could ever see. Snorkeling is just a short walk from where you come to the beach from the house. Walking on the beach is a pleasure. All in all a marvelous break from reality and truly paradise!! We shall return!

Excellent Villa for Family Vacation

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 4 adults stayed at the Villa for 9 nights. Loved every aspect of the Villa!

Beautiful views from the upstairs windows & decks & plenty of room for everyone to relax in an island home. The pool was a great place to cool off or unwind at the end of the day. Grace Bay is a minutes walk from the Villa & we spent many hours floating & snorkeling right off the beach. We used the BBQ several times & cooked most breakfasts. There was an issue with the oven & dishwasher but it was fixed immediately & was not a big deal to us. The cable was out most of our stay but again not a big deal & it was no fault of the Villas as the provider was having issues.

Location was awesome...easy walk to the Fish fry & other places for a quick meal or drink. It is centrally located so it was an easy drive to IGA, Turtle Cove, Blue Haven, the Airport...pretty much anywhere.

Everyone from the Owner, Propery Manager, Housekeeping, Maintenance man & Security Guards are top notch! Everyone gave us great advice on the "must do's" while in Provo & took excellent care of us!

Highly recommend this rental & hope to return in the near future.

Amazing House in Paradise

  • 5 of 5

We had an amazing time at the Villa Camilla. We enjoyed many of the features the island has to offer with deep sea fishing, scuba diving, kayaking, snorkeling and lots of eating and drinking :) The Bight Reef is within walking distance from the house where we enjoyed hours of some of the best snorkeling we've ever experienced. The ocean front outside the house is calm and the perfect temperature while the beach is clean and pristine.

Comfortable, secure, and great location.

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time at Villa Camilla and really enjoyed the pool. We felt very safe with the alarm system and the security folks who checked with us every morning and evening and we saw them quite frequently walking the property. The villa was very comfortable and was certainly a perfect location for us as we spent a lot of time at Bight Reef and Smith's reef. First time snorkeling at Smith's reef and it was great. Spent a half day at Taylor Bay and Sopodilla Bay.

Ate breakfast next door at the Beach House twice and Somewhere's a couple of times as well. We all preferred Somewhere's menu and prices for breakfast but enjoyed the ambiance of the Beach House. We only had lunch at Bugaloos and Somewhere as we made lunch at the villa most days. Kitchen is well equipped with everything we needed for meals. It was very convenient to have the barbecue grill on the adjacent to the kitchen. We did the afternoon / sunset cruise with Sail Beluga and thoroughly enjoyed it. Had dinner at Somewhere's, Mango Reef, Shark Bites, Coco Bistro, Mis Amigos, and Bella Luna. By far the best meal was Mango Reef. The escargot might be some of the best I have ever eaten anywhere , including France. Loved the setting for Coco Bistro but was very disappointed with the food and service. Perhaps my expectations were too high after reading all the reviews online. Going to the Mexican Restaurant was a mistake and I should have known better. Wish we had tried Le Bouchon........will definitely try it next time! All and all we had a wonderful time and really appreciate you sharing your villa with us. I would not hesitate recommending it to others.
