Welcome to our home. We are situated on 3.2 acres on the Naramata Bench with magnificent views of Lake Okanagan --rated as one of the best views in the area. Our property is an active vineyard where we grow gewürztraminer grapes. The setting Is peaceful and rural and within 12 minutes of downtown Penticton and 7 minutes of the village of Naramata. We are in the heart of the wine-growing region with 24 wineries along on the Bench and over 100 within an hour's drive. The KVR/Canada Trail popular for biking and walking is 3 minutes behind our home. There are 3 beaches, golf courses and numerous tourist attractions within easy reach of our place.
Our self-contained 2 BR suite is on the ground floor with a private entrance. It is tastefully decorated with antiques and artwork from Asia and Africa where we worked for 18 years. Each bedroom has a queen bed, TV, private bathroom with bathrobes and hair dryer. Sleep in our African Room in an exotic wooden bed from the spice island off Kenya or try our Indonesian Room with a teak sleigh bed surrounded by Balinese artwork. The suite is fully air-conditioned.
The spacious living room overlooks the lake and has all the modern conveniences --46' flat screen TV, DVD player, computer, music and video library. The kitchenette is well-equipped with microwave, fridge, toaster, coffee-maker and much more. Alternatively, guests can cook up a sumptuous meal on the patio BBQ or relax outdoors and watch the amazing sunsets.
Penticton means ä place to stay forever'. The city was recently named one of the top 10 vacation spots to visit by Facebook users. The city offers numerous cultural events, outdoor activities, and music and wine festivals from May to October.
