This two bedroom home on beautiful Eagles Nest 3 is brand new. It sits on a level lot with three hundred feet of private shoreline surrounded by the beautiful northwoods. The home is close to Ely and the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Bear Head State Park encompasses much of the lake and helps ensure the serenity of the lake. The lake is crystal clear, deep and has amazing fishing. Deer, loon, eagles and other animals call this area home.

The home features a gas fireplace, modern kitchen with all amenities and big lake views. A canoe is available for the unlimited use of guests and a 16' Lund boat with 15HP motor is available for rent.

Swimming, boating, canoeing, kayaking, waterskiing, fishing, hiking, berry picking, loon watching, sunset viewing and relaxing by the waters edge are at their best right here. Come enjoy the beauty of pristine Eagles Nest 3 Lake.

About The Owner

We are a married couple living on a lake near the listed property. We are 57 and 55 and semi-retired. We love animals and have a dog who is an important family member, so we understand why people travel with their pets. The northwoods has been our home all of our lives and we love all the boundary waters area has to offer, including fishing, boating, swimming and enjoying the deer, eagles and loons.

The Owner purchased this cabin in 2009
Why The Owner chose Ely

We have owned this property for about 5 years. Last year we constructed a beautiful, new home on the property and put up a new garage. One day we will downsize and retire at this beautiful home. But for now, we live in a lake home nearby.

What makes this cabin unique

Here you will find the serenity and beauty that only a northwoods lake can offer. Outdoor recreation abounds on this pristine and quiet lake. The home is brand new with a gas fireplace and is a great place to relax while surrounded by comfort. Nearby is Ely (Wolf Center, Bear Center, shopping), Tower/Soudan (Soudan Underground Mine, miniature golf, Wilderness Golf Course, Fortune Bay Casino), Bear Head State Park and the amazing Boundary Waters Canoe Area.

What a beautiful location and superbly clean cabin. Nature provides surround sound. Morning coffee on the deck listening to the loons only to be lulled to sleep by the same beautiful song. Lake is huge but quiet. Not a lot of traffic. Caught some walleye and bass. Hiked the roads around the cabin and saw deer often even in the day time. Also had Eagles land in the pines at the cabin to "scout" fish in the lake. Great communication with Marilyn and Scott also. They responded to questions immediately and their information sheet is very helpful listing things to do and restaurant reviews. LOVED THIS CABIN- HATED TO LEAVE!

Our stay at this lake home was an excellent experience. The home was very clean and comfortable, the lot was large, private, quiet, and the sunsets were absolutely wonderful from the dock or fire pit. The proximity to Bearhead Lake State Park beach trails worked out great for our two young boys. Marilyn was great to work with and we would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a wonderful trip!

We really enjoyed our stay last summer. The house was really clean and cozy. We loved the fishing, campfires, and grilling. Town was fun with great restaurants and shops. We hope to come back some day!

Beautiful cabin with privacy

First off the owner Marilyn was super to work with. The cabin was New and spotless. It was awesome to walk in and see such a nice clean place to spend a week. It was very realxing as we got to see all of the beauty of the fall leafs. Nice cool evenings and being able to light up the gas fireplace and enjoy the quiet peaceful surroundings.

Great place for a great price!

This cabin is truly spectacular. Everything is clean and well maintained. It was so nice to be able to bring our 2 dogs. They loved swimming in the lake everyday. The lake is very beautiful and clear. We saw deer, loon and herons. A very relaxing experience.
