Cabin, 3 Bedrooms + Loft, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 8-10)

Serene, private getaway with no other houses in site. This 32 acre parcel has room to explore any season of the year. From a sledding/snowboard hill that is friendly for all ages during the winter, and 750' of lake shore in the summer, this is truly a diamond in the woods.

Located on Ross Lake in Crow Wing County, which is a 491 recreational lake. Check it out on the DNR website under lake finder and info.18016500

There is over 2500 sqft of living space inside the cabin, and a nice long cement patio with overhead cover to sit and watch the wildlife or children play. Decorated in log and other woods, it is truly magnificent!

Rental includes FREE FISHHOUSE USE for time rented!

About The Owner

We purchased this private getaway as a place to go away from the hustle and bustle of traffic, crowds, and development of city life. We have made many fond memories at the cabin and plan to make many more!

The Owner purchased this cabin in 2002
Why The Owner chose Aitkin

We chose this location for the acreage and lakefront. Acquiring a property of this nature is hard to come by these days. It is very secluded, and big enough to roam. Our family and friends have many fun get-togethers. The lake is large enough for recreational fun, but not too big with overcrowding.

What makes this cabin unique

There are many fun things to do while staying at this cabin. Indoor there is a foosball table, many sitting areas to relax, and tables to play cards/board games or just to sit and look out the windows. Outdoors, there is the lake to enjoy fishing, boating, swimming, sit by a campfire, play catch or yard games, or go for walks on the many nature trails on the property.

Amazing, beautiful and very relaxing!

Cabin was more than expected. This house is beautiful, very comfortable and perfect location. The listing is very accurate, property was very well maintained and the owners very friendly. I can't wait to get another chance to spend time here! House is very handicap assessable!

Wow, what a fun place to be in the summer. The discription was totally accurate. The lake was so much fun to fish, even fishing off the dock. A little treasure. We also enjoyed taking the paddle boat out to the floating pontoon.
The cabin was spacious and family friendly. Clean and neat with all the amenities you could ever want in a cabin. Big enough for all of us to find our own little corner with space left over. Loved the patio/sidewalk to sit in the morning and during the rain. We also enjoyed the fire pit.
It was nice that it was only a short drive to get to town. A place for us girls to spend the afternoon at the coffee shop and shopping and of course picking up bate for the guys.
The owners were easy to work with and certainly treated us well.
Would recommend it to anyone who needs a really quite place to take a family and loves to fish and swim. Can imagine it would be a great place to come in winter too.

My family and I had such a wonderful time at this cabin! The owners were helpful, polite and I must say, very quick to answer and questions I had prior to our arrival. Everything was equipped beyond our expectations (kitchen, outdoor equipment, games, etc). The property was beautiful and comfortable inside and out. My kids loved the paddle boat and floating dock! The fishing also exceeded our expectations, especially on such a small, pretty little lake. I loved that it felt very secluded but just a short distance from some little towns that were enjoyably on rainy days.
