About Helen Edley
Chris and Helen Edley live in Victoria BC, on Canada's west coast. Chris has spent many years living on the east coast and they love the beautiful south coast of PEI. They own a graphic design company, which, in addition to designing and producing interpretive signs for parks, also supports the international geocaching community with products and services through landsharkz.ca. 'We hope that all our guests have a wonderful and memorable holiday and enjoy exploring PEI as much as we do'.
Helen Edley purchased this cottage in 2009
Why Helen Edley chose Victoria
After some memorable and relaxing family vacations in this area Chris and Helen decided they needed a vacation home to use themselves and to share with others in one of their favorite holiday destinations. With one son in the air force, they felt that the cottage would be somewhere he could visit and relax and get some 'home away from home' during his long postings away from family.
What makes this cottage unique
We like to start off with a Cows Ice Cream! You can get them on the ferry, in Borden when you cross the bridge or in Charlottetown on the pier! We have personal flavor favorites but we won't sway you - try them all! It's wonderful to spend the morning geocaching and/or exploring the island, then come back to the cottage for a late lunch before packing your towel for a relaxing afternoon on the warm sandy beach. The cottage is so close, you can slip back for a afternoon snack or a fresh towel... The 800 sq' deck overlooks the beach and is a magical place to dine, relax or just sleep! With almost half an acre at your disposal, you can set up a net and play some badminton or just enjoy the privacy of the property.
