I have to say that as my first time renting a condo of this sort, I have nothing but good things to say about the owner, Sarb, how easily everything was facilitated and how promptly he answered my questions.Lots of room in the condo. He made the whole process a breeze!
The condo is in a perfect location with a view of the lake,a great pool and patio, only a 5 min. walk to Rotary beach and a 10 min. drive to downtown.

I stayed here May long. It has a good view, the room is near the stairs/elevator so there isnt a long walk to the pool. Also easy to find as the complex has alot of rooms.

I also like that there was enough room for all of us and our stuff.

I would rent this one again!

If you want to rent a boat of something you can walk across the street to the boat launch. Saves on parking.

A Gem of a condo

A gem of a condo right across from the Manteo Resort. We are two families with teenagers and this very clean condo has plenty of space for six. The parks and green-way provides great evening walks and the Roasted Bean at the complex is quaint and quiet for afternoon coffee. If you decide to dine in, grocery shopping is a nice twenty minutes walk. The only minor problem for us was no internet connection--we couldn't find the modem in the unit. That aside, the owners were organized, helpful and responsive--they clearly care alot about the property and their guests. Thank you Sarb, we shall return !!

Perfect getaway!

I would like to add another positive review to those already stated below. My stay here was the end of August/beginning of September. Sarb is one of my co-workers for years now and a very upstanding guy. However my review is completely unbiased from that relationship as I call things the way they are and I call this place great!

The pictures of the condo looked nice but it even looks nicer when you get there. The decor and beds were 4* quality. I loved the courtyard area with the pool and hot tub overlooking the lake. Although the kitchen was well stocked, I took a vacation from cooking so the attached restaurant (Cabana) and coffee shop were very handy and great quality. There was also a nice looking spa attached to the complex which was tempting for those wanting a bit of pampering.

Sarb also gave some good ideas of what to do and places to go during my visit. The Kettle Valley Railway Trestles were definitely a hit - bring or rent a bike and look forward to an adventure in getting there and experiencing it.

Sarb made things easy for the booking, damage deposit, and directions for the rental of the property - he be a good little business man! : )

Great condo to stay

Classy condo with view of lake.
Clean and with all amenities we needed. Good layout of kitchen, we used everything including the oven and the BBQ on the deck.
Loved the hot tub and pool after our our long hike.
Sarb was very welcoming in our emails and offered local information if we needed it.
