Fun, knowledgeable guides that will pick you up right at the beach for amazing diving or snorkeling trips to the marine reserves or the 2nd largest barrier reef in the world, awesome fishing, fly fishing for permit, bonefish, tarpon or trolling for grouper, snapper. Also trips to the Mayan ruins, caving, jungle trips, waterfalls, close by and arranged by friendly staff.
Rent entire establishment for $450 low season, $580 high season per night. 3 night minimum. Weekly rates $2800-$4000. Complete use of kitchen or our restaurant can cater to you, with farm fresh local fruits, veggies, local fish, shrimp, conch and lobster in season. Anne and Gary Miller, from the U.S. originally, family run business, They met out in the Marshall Islands in the Pacific, world's largest atoll, Anne was a ship captain, Gary was an engineer in the space program. They have been in Placencia for 20 years, built the establishment from scratch. They are one of the only original owners of the eco lodges. Gary is a very talented guitar player and vocalist. Anne is a fabulous cook and in the right mood, she may talk of her many sailing adventures.
Tropical beach was a must, clean clear warm water, English speaking, Friendly people, that actually welcome ex-pats, very safe and politically stable. Incredible wildlife and diverse terrain.
