Our home is lavishly furnished and decorated and will be a delight to all. The peace and tranquillity is unsurpassed and the views are breathtaking. Only miles from the busy activity of the world renowned ski area in Sun Valley, our guests will also enjoy privacy and seclusion for rest and relaxation.

The house is situated on an acre with trees and foliage galore and only steps to the banks of the Big Wood River where one can enjoy fishing and hiking. Animals abound with moose, fox, and deer regularly in view. We invite you to enjoy this fabulous Rocky Mountain retreat both in Summer and Winter.

We had been coming to the Sun Valley area since 1989 and fell in love with it. When we found our house in Hailey we knew that we had found the ultimate vacation home with all the serenity and peace one could ever want. The surroundings are breathtaking and the slow pace of life in Hailey truly allows one relax and enjoy the simple things of life.

What makes this house unique

Our house is secluded from our neighbors and the downtown. It is truly a 'get-a-way' where one can relax from the pressures of the outside world and yet it is close enough to Sun Valley to enjoy all the amenities of a resort both in summer and in winter.

This home had absolutely everything needed for our 5 night stay. The kitchen had every appliance and utility tool ever invented! It was spotless and well taken care of. The Big Woods River was next to the property and fly fishing and cast fishing was enjoyed by all.

We ate at the Wicked Spud and Sun Valley Brewery in Hailey. The service at Sun Valley Brewery was second to none - they even opened a little early for us, as we were "lurking" around the property prior to noon!

We enjoyed our stay tremendously.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway

A gem of a vacation house

This house exceeded our expectations. The layout worked very well for our group of 8 adults (we ski together each year) and would be excellent for a family as well. Everything in A-1 condition and spotless clean, it appeared as construction was completed a few months ago. The pictures do not really do it justice, it's more open and spacious than you would expect and very comfortable. Hot water was never an issue, beds are super comfy, furnishings and amenities all way above average, and the family room/kitchen configuration perfect for a group. I was concerned about the nearby busy airport but we only heard planes a couple times and never within the house. River Run is about 20 minutes away and is super-convenient for skiing. We've been renting from owners via the web for 10 years now and this is as good as we've ever done. The owner Pam was extremely helpful in all ways and security deposit was refunded in 6 days.

Do watch your speed while driving in and around this town, speed traps are numerous and I mean 24/7. It's a topic of conversation among many up on the ski slopes. Also if driving in from BOI watch things on the way, I got stopped in a 45 zone (from 65, within about 200 ft) in the town of Fairfield - was let go with a verbal warning which I understand is very unusual.
