My husband and I recently stayed a week in the Marlon Brando suite. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Since it is a "historic" inn, it's obviously old so we were not expecting anything "fancy". We were pleasantly surprised at the cozy, homey feel of the place. It was nice to come home to our little "apartment" after a day of site seeing. Todd, the property manager was awesome! He was very nice and made himself readily available in the event we might need anything.
Right next door is a lovely restaurant where we ate breakfast most mornings. The food was good and reasonably priced. Also, around the corner within walking distance is a little restaurant "bar" that we loved. The type of place you find only in small towns and the food was fabulous. The fried shrimp was better than Red Lobster and the hamburgers are HUGE!.
Would recommend this Inn to anyone looking for an inexpensive, clean and comfortable place to stay.
Step back in time, to a place from long ago. As it was during a recent trip we needed a place to rest before proceeding on a trip north. Clean room, we stayed at the property which is an older facility - the suite had a TV and sitting area. Bedroom had nice space, separate sink with fridge. Nice bathroom - most of the building has been remodeled over the years. Built in the late 1800's. We enjoyed it, probably would stay again if we go on through that way. This was a good place to rest.
And the area has alot of sites to see. Only con- thing is that the bed could use a softer mattress. Only, because I have trouble with health issues with muscles. But, give it a chance - nice folks too.
