Rent this unit, come to Destin and a short, winding drive into Seascape Resort brings you to this luxury condo. The comfortable three story buildings in this southern area of Seascape all line Stewart Lake.
These are known as the 'Boardwalk' condominiums. The boardwalk itself takes you across Stewart Lake to the beach.
You will be struck with the quiet and solitude of the area, close to the surf at the beach, on this peaceful lake, and surrounded by tall, tropical palms swaying in the breeze. Park your car and climb the stairs to enter your private world for the next few days.
This home away from home feels welcome, clean and comfortable. Walk down the hall to the living area and breath a sigh of relief. This will be a nice place to stay!

The second bedroom upstairs sleeps two and has plenty of windows, looking both south and east. Very bright and very cheerful. And, with it's own private bath.
The third bedroom, back downstairs, sleeps two and also has it's own private bath.
Investigate the kitchen, fully equipped with dishes, pots and pans, silverware, glassware, etc., etc., etc. Full-size range, cook-top, and microwave await your culinary skills. Coffee maker, toaster, disposal, everything you need! Make a quick snack or a gourmet dinner and serve it either on the bar or in the dining area.
Or, take a snack to either deck overlooking Stewart Lake and the Gulf of Mexico and enjoy one of the best views, both day and night, on the gulf coast. There is no better view of the sunset in all of Destin than this condo. Do like they do in Key West: Celebrate the sunset every evening!

Head for the beach! The beach chairs and umbrella are in the front bedroom closet. Down and across the Stewart Lake boardwalk and you're there. It's a short three minute walk. Or, if you like, take the car and park it in Seascape's private beach parking lot.
Spend a morning walking throughout Seascape Resort. It's a safe community and it's beautiful! Tasteful landscaping, beautiful architecture and relaxing surroundings appear at every turn.
Take a swim in the pool near the condo or any of the other four pools in the resort. Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the Whale's Tail Restaurant at the end of the boardwalk on the beach.
Turn your cell phone off. Slow down and begin to appreciate the casual opportunities of the next few days.

Margaret and I grew up in Mississippi but spent many early vacations traveling to the beaches on the Emerald Coast of Florida. Destin was everybody's favorite! We moved to Pensacola in 1988 to open our business, Dollarhide's Music Center. We had been visiting Seascape since the mid-70's so buying this condo was a natural step in 2004. We take great pride in a clean, well maintained 'Home' for you to live in for your vacation. Once you stay you will likely join the many return guests that come back year after year.
We bought this condo at Seascape because we wanted to buy an investment grade rental but we mostly wanted a comfortable, deluxe townhouse condo for our own visits to Destin. Whether you are like us, a couple that likes to spread out over two spacious floors, or you have a building full of family, this is the right condo for you!
This condo is close to the beach but just far enough away. We've stayed directly on the beach plenty and find that a short, comfortable distance away with some grass and trees and shade is a good thing. The beach can become a gritty hot place in the summer. Having a cool, big swimming pool right outside your door is sometimes just the ticket!
