Toucans and Costa Rica coffee start the day.
We were delighted to wake up to the toucans and have our Costa Rica, coffee on our porch overlooking the bananas trees, sitting on rocking chairs, with the ocean view setting the scene. Our toucans return for the early evening just as the cocktails
were ready as the sun set.
Upstairs crowning the roof is the mirador that gives you a 360 degree view of jungle, ocean, and the flowers It has a bar and just what we needed; our internet connection but there was more than what we had expected. While typing away we could hear some loud splashing. He or she , the Humpback whale ,was jumping and splashing just for us.
Wow, but the afternoon show wasn’t finished the next day the white faced monkeys started chattering , swinging, and sounding off to one another as they scampered through the bushes on the side of this pristine property. Think they were checking to see if the bananas were ripe yet. What a show, right at the brand new retreat that we call paradise.
When we arrived everything was ready for us ; this exclusive retreat is in harmony with todays up to the minute standards and in perfect condition. We wanted for nothing. The bedrooms with baths are all private and the details exceptional, some with balconies .
If you like to play chef you can enjoy the scenery, cook, grill outside on a special patio overlooking the pool , serve on the kitchen island or just set a tropical table in the dinning area that can accommodate at least eight people with room for more.
All the furniture has been hand crafted in Costa Rica and is in keeping with the tropical, sleek , and exquisite setting. This is a very special retreat in a very pretty, pristine setting. Even the placement of the swimming pool overlooks the ocean and is positioned that you can enjoy swimming in the shade if need be.
If you want great restaurants, great views, very good near shore fishing ( caught three Spanish mackerels, grilled them, unspoiled beaches, and want to enjoy a people who are respectful and in tune with the ecology of the land, and make you feel welcome , this is it. It is our little rented heaven that we found. We will be back
again and again. We rate this property excellent and it's sparkling new.
