Chalet, 2 Bedrooms + Den, 1.25 Baths, (Sleeps 4-6)

Our lake house is located 3.2 Miles from the Bristol NASCAR track and it sleeps 6. It is a 700sq' Chalet, and is located 25' from the water's edge. It is very comfortable with Central Heat & Air and a complete remodel four years ago.

Lake house features:

·2 bedrooms with full size beds, and a comfy futon in the living area.

·1 full bath and a private outdoor shower.

·Hardwood flooring and fenced yard makes cottage very pet friendly.

*full size kitchen with two refrigerators, dishwasher, electric stove, microwave

·one canoe and 2 kayaks, life jackets

·covered boat slip

·non-smoking home. Smoking is allowed under the covered, outdoor deck but please do not throw cigarette butts into the yard.

·lots of outside seating...3 decks

The local marina has pontoon boats and jet skis for rent at reasonable rates, and live music every night.

Boone Lake is famous for its hybrid, striped bass. The record hybrid, striped bass is 42 pounds. These special hybrid bass grow 3 lbs every year. Because of the cold winter water, these hybrid striped bass almost hibernate as their metabolism is reduced to nothing. The last of March and the first two weeks of April is the best time to fish for these because they are waking up with the warming water and they are hungry. Local fishermen say it's best to use shiny 3' silver spoon and troll at a depth of 15'.

I live 14 miles away in Johnson City and will be available if any issues arise, or you need something.

LOVE this little lake house! It has everything you could want, and is so close to the water. My kids and family have visited more since I purchased this house than many years prior.

What makes this chalet unique

This lake house is very pet friendly! There is a fenced yard, outdoor shower to wash their muddy paws, a large kennel in the bedroom and hardwood flooring. There is a pet cleaning deposit of $50 per pet, plus $1/lb for any pet over 15lbs.

Everything you see on the website is 100% accurate. This place is a terrific find for us. We have 3 big dogs and they had a great time in the lake. Owner Lana gave us no hassle or anything about having 3 big dogs. We have a hard time finding hotes that will accept our dogs so to find a house on a lake is just amazing. We will definately go back again and again.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this lake house. We found it clean and neat. The owner met us there and showed us around. The house has everything you need to have an enjoyable vacation. Stores and shopping is close by if you forget anything. It is a beautiful lake and we had a great time.

Found the place last minute and just wanted a lake front place - and this place FAR exceeded our expectations. The house is somewhat small but was fine for us (3 friends) and the interior was quite nice (recently renovated)..we only used it to sleep and make coffee. All you really needed it for! The outside areas were great and large (& who doesn't wanna be outside on a lake!). We loved the multiple decks, many water toys to play with (boat and jet ski to rent, kayaks, rafts, fishing equipment, fire pit, etc), and the dog friendly accommodations. The lake is beautiful, albeit narrow (finger lake type), and not crowded / fun (jet skiing, boating, kayaking). Outdoor shower on the main deck was also great and we loved sunsets on the deck - area is definitely under appreciated / known and we will definitely come back (prob. repeatedly :) Mark was a great host and very flexible and made sure we had everything we needed. Awesome experience! Just don't take our week !

Very relaxing!

We always have traveled to a beach for summer vacation but we had so much going on with sports that we decided to stay close to home. Loved the house, deck, dock and lake. Probably one of the most relaxing vacations I have ever had! The house had everything needed for a Great time! I would recommend this property to anyone and Mark was great!

Relaxing on the Lake

My family spent a wonderful week at this home and look forward to doing it again. Mark is a gracious host with good stories. The house is cozy and the decks all have wonderful views. It is a nice quiet location on the lake as well. The most enjoyable part of the trip was spending time on the lake. The use of the jetski and boat were awesome. We had forgotten to pack many items, but the house is very well furnished and provided everything that we needed. Check it out, you won't be sorry. We didn't know the area and found a GPS to be very helpful in getting around.
