About The Owner

We have owned property on the Rappahannock River in Water View for about 15 years. It is the perfect place to get away and relax or enjoy all the pleasures available in the Northern Neck area of Virginia. We have 3 active boys who enjoy taking friends to the river for swimming, jet skiing, pool time, boating, fishing and more. We enjoy getting away from the city life of Richmond where we live but without the long drive in traffic of going to the beach.

Why The Owner chose Urbanna

Water View is a quaint area on the Rappahannock in a small family oriented community. It is just minutes from the town of Urbanna. Tappahannock, Deltaville, The Tides Inn, Saluda, Naylors Beach, are all just a short drive away. The river offers all the beach can offer but in a more relaxed setting and without all the traffic and tourist attractions. Hobbs Hole Golf Course in Tappahannock is within 25 minutes.

What makes this house unique

Coffee and a good book on the screened porch are some of the best times. The pier allows for long days of swimming, tubing, fishing, or just sun bathing. Enjoy an evening BBQ and eat outside on the porch watching the sunset. You can take a boat ride or a short drive and have so many historic opportunities at your fingertips. Wonderful place to relax

We just spent our vacation at this home and had a wonderful relaxing time. The only thing that would have made it better would have been having it for a full week. It is very well furnished/stocked the grocery store is not to far (Food Lion) one thing to keep in mind is everything in the town of Urbanna closes pretty early by 6:00. We found a great place to buy fresh crabs and fish right in the Waterview area. The pool is just perfect. You can't go wrong if you want a place to just relax and refresh.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
