Everything was Perfect!

Condo was exactly what we expected, and just perfect for us. We loved being on the Paia side of Maui, and didn't want a crowded, resort-style vacation. The location was convenient, and the place was clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. When we first sat on the bed, we were afraid it was going to be too soft, since we prefer a firmer mattress, but we ended up sleeping very comfortably. Having the beach chairs, towels, and coolers was a real bonus, and we used them every day.The condo was well stocked with everything we needed (except it would have been nice if they had a warm blanket to bring to Haleakala at sunrise - the quilts were a little too heavy and bulky.) The owner was very accommodating in allowing us to check out a little later, since we had an evening flight.
Our favorite beaches were Baldwin, less than a mile down the road, and Big Beach in Makena, well worth the short trip. We enjoyed the Paia Fish Market, Flatbread Pizza, and the shops in Paia. We would definitely stay here again, and recommend highly. You should know that the condo is on the 3rd floor, so you will get some good exercise going up and down the stairs. Aloha!
