Quiet and secluded

Considering that we have been using VRBO for 4 years, this house has one of the most accurate descriptions that we have seen. The screen surrounding pool is torn in several places, so plan to spend some time removing debris from the pool when you arrive. Pool furniture is adequate, but needs to be replaced. We enjoyed riding our bikes, but be sure to take your owns bikes if you plan to ride. Nice, wide bike paths are within easy access, but as the bikes at this home have no air in the tires and no functioning brakes, they cannot be ridden. An easy walk to the beach, as stated on VRBO info page. Private access to the beach (once you find the info on the combination to the lock) is fantastic. We spent an entire week and only crossed paths with other beach-goers once. Inside furnishings are above average and quite comfortable. Only a short drive north or south to a large number of fine restaurants, and close to grocery and convenience stores as well. The lighthouse at Ponce is a must. Plenty of covered porches for those who like to be outside as much as possible, and a nice propane grill that allows you to cook at home. Inside of the house was clean and orderly, ample towels, etc. and beach towels also. The table by the pool had not been cleaned, still had spilled juice/mustard/ketchup/mayo from previous guests. The pool deck area is covered in mold and in desparate need of cleaning. The landscape crew is very courteous, and they do a good job of maintaining the grounds. We were told that the pool man would be coming on Wednesday, but we never saw him. Overall experience was good, we would probably use this house again when visiting the Flager Beach area.
