Known to the locals as the 'Horse's Head' (because of the distinctive piece of drift wood that has marked the property for years), this funky old house is located midway between the historic fishing village of Cheticamp and scenic Margaree Valley. It is the perfect 'base camp' for the entire tourist season. In May/June wake up to a panoramic view of lobster boats catching your supper. In July/August enjoy a five-ten minute trip to several beaches. And, in September/October, marvel at the changing leaves along the Cabot Trail and take in the Celtic Colors International Music Festival.

Five minutes to the nearest grocery store, fifteen minutes to golf, whale watching, museums, antiques & folk art, drug store, liquor store, banks, etc. With a direct link to the Cape Breton Highlands trail system, this is a natural location for hikers, mountain bikers or ATV enthusiasts.
