ROYAL PALMS GETAWAY;2BR W/ PRIV POOL,DOCK,BEACH ACCESS PERFECT

We had a great time at this property, It is very close to everything you need including a shorter walk from the house to the beach than across the beach itself! The pool and lanai provided an early morning coffee and relaxation area and later evening lounging. It was clean and friendly with everything needed to be comfortable. Charlies Boathouse is 3 doors down with great food and drink. Tiki hut bars are nearby on beachfront. For breakfast you will definitely enjoy Heavenly Bisquit just 2 or 3 km north of the house just off Estero Blvd at Mango Street. Truly heavenly!

Wildlife is everywhere. We made a couple of trips to Lovers Key Park (about 5 km/3 miles south) and kayaked beside dolphins and manatees. At the beach the sand is fine and white, sandbirds and seashells were abundant and there are cabanas for rent.

Compliments to owners Karen and Don for providing such a nice experience to us sunstarved northerners. We hope to return!

The Royal Palms Getaway was the perfect place to stay for our first time in FMB. The house is spotless, perfectly equipped and beautifully located; very homey. There was not one thing that we reached for that we were not able to find. The laundry room is definitely a plus and as well kept as the house. Everything is labeled beautifully, no guessing games.The listing description is very accurate and Karen is of warped speed in responding to any and all questions/ concerns that you may have. We enjoyed the mornings by cooking breakfast and having coffee on the dock. The neighbors and their dogs are very friendly and full of local knowledge.
The south end of the island was just what we had ordered, tranquility, with the option of the livelier north end. It could not have been more ideal. The weather could not have been more splendid; clear blue skies all 10 days. The beach located just across the street is spectacular. The sand is some of the silkiest sand we have experienced and the sunsets are exquisite.
Outriggers Tiki bar is an entertaining option, a great location to watch the sunset while listening to dueling conch shells if the right locals are in attendance. The restaurant "Charlie's Boathouse" at the end of the street was delicious and the service was impeccable each & every time we went. Although all of the staff is pleasant and efficient, ask for Carlos, you won’t be disappointed. There is also a delicious Italian restaurant just over the bridge called "Pastabilities". We highly recommend them both.
We cannot wait for our next stay at The Royal Palms Getaway. We will be recommending this listing to all that we know, interested or not. :-)

We had a great stay at Royal Palms Getaway. The owners thought of every detail! The house was comfortable and convenient to the beach and many restaurants, and just a 5 minute drive to Times Square and the pier and the Publix grocery store. 15 quick minutes to Fort Myers Sports Complex and great shopping. The lanai was perfect for breakfast and for relaxing after a fun day at the beach. We cannot wait to return and bring our grandchildren!
