We just returned from a week at this great Tahoe home. We loved being able to walk or ride bikes into Tahoe City. And the walk down to the beach park was even easier. I can't say enough about the view from the living room and the deck. We spent almost all of our time out on the deck, enjoying the lake view. It was so peaceful. The house was exactly as described in the listing; very clean, with plenty of linens and a well equipped kitchen. Having two rooms downstairs was perfect. The teens took over those two rooms, and my husband and I had the master upstairs. Mark was a pleasure to work with, answering all of my email questions before and during our stay. The spa was a nice bonus; we could even see the lake from there. It looks like we'll be planning an annual trip to Tahoe, and we don't think we could find a better house.
We recently got back from a glorious 10 days in beautiful Lake Tahoe. Staying in this cabin was perfect! It's really in an ideal location and soooo comfortable. The bds are comfortable and it's stocked with everything you could possibly need. (except bech towels- so bring your own)! The private Tahoe Oark Beach Club is delightful with absolutely beautiful views. It's got grassy areas and swimming areas, docks and is adjacent to Sunnyside restaurant.
We spent every morning on the deck enjoying coffee while taking in the beautiful lake views and every evening soaking in the hot tub. Mark, the owner is really easy to deal with and always responds to questions quickly. He even directed me to exactly where I could find his blender to use when I inquired if he had one there. The wifi went out while we wre there and he had it fixed immediately and directed me to a wonderful bakery/ coffee shop relight near by that I could bike to (using one of his bikes) to hop in a free network if I needed it pronto. (I didn't-- but I lived the Bakery tip)! I would highly recommend this wonderful cabin for anyone who's looking for casual comfort surrounded by the quiet private lot where it's located. It has a lot of little nooks, so you don't feel like you and your guests are cinstNtly on top of each other. We had a mini cousins reunion while I celebrated my birthday and honestly I couldn't have been more pleased --/- just I suppose if I could have stYed even longer!
Don't hesitate. This is a great rental on the beautiful West Shore! We'll be back.
My family had a great time. It really was a great location. Far enough away from the center of Tahoe City to get caught up in traffic yet close enough for a nice walk to it. The Homeowners beach was really nice and clean. The house itself was comfortable and had everything we needed. I would stay here again if I got the chance too.
My family of 4 (6 year old and 3 year old) just got back from an amazing week vacation at this lake view cabin. We had a couple different families come in for the week and the cabin fit 4 adults and 4 kids perfectly. We like to entertain and cook so I was pleasantly surprised how the cabin was outfitted with everything you would need all the while overlooking beautiful Lake Tahoe while you made your meals. We brought our own beach cruisers as Tahoe City is a short ride away, but the garage had 2 adult bikes and 1 20inch bike ready to go for those in need of ones to borrow. HOA beach access was utilized daily and offered a playground, friendly staff, great beach access, Paddle board rentals, and next door to Sunnyside bar and grill. Spa was clean and heated, grill was on the patio (BBQ'ing staring at the lake wasn't rough), and cocktails nightly on the deck made this a truly amazing experience for our family. We will be back and would highly recommend this cabin to anyone interested in getting the full Tahoe experience.
This property exceeded my expectations! Everything was absolutely perfect. Very spacious home with a lot of sleeps. The best thing about this property was the deck!! I did not expect to love it so much. Most of our time we spent on the deck enjoying the breath-taking view. The property is very well-maintained. Definitely would recommend this property to anyone, and I'm sure I will be back myself!
I had my girlfriend visiting for a week and we decided to rent this house after looking through the reviews and pictures, and with no preliminary knowledge about the area of Lake Tahoe. I must say that that the positive reviews where highly correct, and the place was even better than I imagined. We had a grate couple of days hiking in the woods and sightseeing around the lake. The way the cabin is placed makes it secluded from curious neighbors, with a grate view of the lake. The sun can easily reach through the trees to the terrace, which gave long-lasting memories of morning coffee in the beautiful scenery of the lake and the smell of trees along with sounds of squirrels and birds foraging around the house. The house itself was equipped with everything you could need, and everything was in top shape at arrival. The owners themselves were very pleasant and helpful in every aspect of the rental process. We spent our time hiking and exploring the lake, but we could easily have done so much more. I felt like the place offered opportunities to take advantage of everything Lake Tahoe have to offer.
