House, 4 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 3.5+ Baths, (Sleeps 8-10)

Well appointed Farmhouse Colonial, on two private acres on private road. Conveniently located Vineyard Meadow Farms is a short distance from Long Point Beach, considered by many to be the best beach on the Island. Home was built for families in mind, with three bedrooms upstairs, master with queen bed and it's own bath. In addition there are two bedrooms that each have two twin beds, that share a hall bath. Downstairs, there is a bedroom with a queen bed, as well as a futon in the media room. These rooms share their own full bath. All bedding is top of the line Sterns + Foster.

Kitchen has all things you might need for enjoying the bounty of the Vineyard with your family, including Bosch Dishwasher, and gas range. Includes Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer, Cuisinart Food Processor, Lobster Pot, and Weber Grill on the outside deck. You'll also find over 30 cookbooks, and all necessities to ensure you will be able to serve your family in style.

Why The Owner chose West Tisbury

It's the perfect spot on the Vineyard because it has the privacy of being up-island town without being too remote. Also, the 2 acre property gives privacy to an entire family, while still being within walking distance to the beach. On Wednesdays and Saturdays West Tisbury is home to the island farmers market, a great place to pick up some of the best produce and goods the island offers.

My family and I rented this amazing home in Martha's Vineyard last summer. We had never been to MV before and enjoyed the trip so much because of the relaxing and beautiful home we had selected. The owner has just put in an outdoor shower which my family loved after a day at the beach. The beach was a very short drive or a run (for mom!) away. There was also a tranquil pond just adjacent to the water which was wonderful for paddling around with the girls. At the end of the day we retreated to our home away from home which was stocked with everything from games, books, cookware, linens, etc. We didn't have to worry about a thing. Each evening we watched the sun set and listened to the water from our deck as we closed the evening with a bbq. After the kids went to bed, we continued to sit outside and drink wine or watched movies from the media room downstairs. PERFECT vacation!

My husband and I spent a blissful, restful week in this lovely home. We enjoyed barbecuing, breakfasts on the deck, long walks in the state park at the bottom of the road and, of course, the beaches. The house had everything one could want to prepare food. The abundant entertainment options helped fill our evenings. And the proximity to Edgartown meant that we could easily shop, eat out and explore. Altogether, a perfect vacation spot.

Being at your home in Martha's Vineyard is like being in paradise. We went swimming at Long Point Wildlife Refuge (nearby) on a daily basis. We shopped at the Farmer's Market, visited local Art fairs and galleries, went to the Alpaca Farm and had an overall fantastic time. The house is immaculate, comfortable and beautifully and lovingly maintained. Kid friendly, too! The house is nestled in a wooded area which offers a very peaceful beginning and end to your days on the island. Thank you for the experience.

For me, there is no better vacation destination location than Martha's Vineyard. The experience would not be complete if I did not have the chance to stay at this amazing home. From location, solitude, to impeccable accommodations my stays have always become life long memories. Sitting out on the back deck, hearing the ocean waves, and gazing up at the stars has always proved inspirational! The owner could not be more thoughtful and accommodating down to every detail so that my family can focus on rest and relaxation.

Thank you for allowing me and my family to share your lovely home. We love everything about Martha's Vineyard, but our favorite part of the day was always returning to your home. It didn't matter if we were cooking as a group [and oh, what a kitchen] playing games, or sitting on the porch it was all cozy and warm!
