Still Available For Big Bass Splash - New beautiful waterfront resort home (completed in May 2008) with 1000 square foot deck and all the amenities of a luxury home available for weekly/monthly rentals. There are three Dish Network equipped TVs with a DVDs/VCRs for your movies. Two multiple ramp boat launches are available within 2 miles and house is located on sandy beach where boat or jet skies can be landed and or anchored.

Our home in Rayburn Country Resort is located within the land of lakes and pines of East Texas. Whether your favorite outdoor experience is fishing, golfing, boating, hiking, canoeing, hunting, photography, bird watching or just getting away, our home and Rayburn Country Resort is in the middle of it all! We invite you to come for a visit and enjoy the many outdoor activities that East Texas has to offer.

Lake Sam Rayburn was created by impounding the Angelina River, creating a 114,000 acre lake that has a natural shoreline and many great fishing holes. The southern end of Lake Sam Rayburn was timbered prior to impounding and the northern end was partially timbered which has created a great fishing habitat. Should you wish to explore the other area lakes (Toledo Bend, B.A. Steinhagen) they are a short drive away. This gives the 'lakes area' 336,200 acres of water, and almost 2000 miles of shoreline for you to enjoy. Rayburn Country Resort is located in the Lakes area of the Piney Woods of East Texas on the Southeast corner of Lake Sam Rayburn in Jasper County. Rayburn Country Resort operates a championship 27 hole golf course, clubhouse, lodge, seasonal pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, and sports core. Clubhouse and golfing memberships are available to non property owners. Mulligan’s Grill in the clubhouse is open to the general public. Bar memberships Available

Nearby you will find a US Post Office, meat market, groceries, restaurants, a medical clinic, fire department, laundry facilities, tackle stores, boat rentals, and gas stations. Just a few miles away is the town of Jasper, and a little further away is Lufkin, both eager to satisfy most any of your needs. Handicapped Accessible (may have limitations):Please Review Carefully - House is located on steep hill - Master bath includes grab bars in bath and toilet area - I have had my handicapped (wheelchair bound) brother in for the weekend. Assistance was needed to get him into the house. There are two steps from the driveway to a short grass area before the porch.

i took my family to this beautiful lakeside house and have to say it was excellent, we had a great time with nice view of the lake from the balcony and meals cooked on the large bbq.
No hesitation in recomending this property as we all loved it.

This home was all that is was represented as being ... Our kids had a great time fishing from the pier and the amentities were above average. The home was spacious, tucked away in great area and presented a relaxing atmosphere - easy access to the lake. We look forward to visiting again soon.The owners have taken the time to provide an area information book for your convenience. Truly a turn key get-away!!!

This property was exactly as promised! Jana was wonderful to work with and the house couldn't have been better...everything we could have needed and more was provided in the house. It really was much better in person than even the photos, very clean, comfotable, and well-appointed All the utensils you would ever need were there, even cheese spreaders for my favoite Cambazola that I brought from California! First-class throughout.The layout is perfect for privacy even when you have company. It helped make our Family Reunion even more memorable. The owners were great!
