Fully renovated in 2010 and decorated with the utmost care, the apartment comes with various Louis XV and XVI original antiques, French Savonnerie carpets, luxury bed and linen, top of the line appliances.
Serviced by an elevator and located on the building’s second floor, the apartment is 4m ceiling height decorated with gold painted moldings throughout, carefully researched to ensure historic accuracy.
The entrance of the apartment features a Louis XV bench on a French Savonnerie carpet and a grand Italian Venetian 16th century gold leaf console with a black Portoro marble top. An Italian porcelain umbrella stand is provided, along with a welcome flower arrangement.

On the right end side of the entrance, a 45sqm living room features beautifully decorated French designer silk fabrics, antique Louis XV and XVI furniture, crystal chandeliers and a white marble fireplace. One of the centerpiece of this room is an Italian 15th century Venetian console and a coffee table from the 1930’s. Artwork from various European masters are on display here and there. The living-room overlooks a large balcony that faces the street through large double glass doors.
Adjacent to the living room, a 25sqm master bedroom is located on the street side. The window of the master bedroom is made of a reinforced triple glazing double door structure so it isolates the bedroom from the street noise. It also features a Louis XV queen size bed, a large mirror closet, two large Louis XV comfortable chairs and a large Plasma TV with SKY TV. The night tables are from the Napoleon III period with black marble tops. The carpet is French Savonnerie style. The master bedroom features an ensuite bathroom with a large Italian shower, a black colored glass sink and a mirror cabinet. It has been fully renovated and dressed up with Spanish ceramic to give an Hermes leather style feel. The wall mounted lamps on each side of the mirror are made of crystal from Baccarat.
On the left end side of the entrance, a 30sqm office and reading room features a cozy silk sofa, an antique Louis XV desk where one can write, a marble fireplace and two chairs covered with designer silk fabric. Artwork form Indian and British artists are on display here and there.
A 20sqm bedroom is located at middle level of the corridor. Both bedrooms are completely independent from one to another to allow complete privacy. This bedroom features a Louis XV queen size bed and two night tables made of gold bronze with white marble tops, a closet and a LCD TV with French and English channels. A window faces the quiet courtyard of the building.
The second bathroom is located at the end of the corridor; it has a bathtub, a shower and a wall mounted toilet. In the same fashion than the first bathroom, it features Spanish ceramic on the wall with a black colored glass sink. It has a crystal chandelier and two mounted wall lamps by Italian designers.
There is a second wall mounted toilet with a sink located at the entrance of the corridor decorated with crystal wall mounted lamps from Baccarat.
Both toilets feature a slow motion impact cover top.
Both bathrooms are furnished with beauty supplies, hair dryers, bathrobes and sleepers.
DVD player in the master bedroom is multi-zone.
A Harman Kardon sound-system services the master bedroom, the living and office rooms, while a small wall mounted CD and radio player services the kitchen.
At the end of the corridor, the kitchen features a large bistro dining table for six people, as well as a dish-washer, washing machine, dryer, La Cornu stove, Delonghi coffee machine and all the necessary utensils to cook.
Silverware and flatware are respectively silver and porcelain, while crystal glassware and elegant table linen are also provided.
The rental of the apartment comes with a dedicated housekeeper 3 times per week.
We welcome long-term rentals and last minute bookings as well.
The apartment is not suitable for children under 16 years old.
No Pets are allowed and NON-SMOKING. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the apartment and in the common areas of the building.
