Cottage, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4-6)

Very cute cottage on the bluff with 180 degree view of lake Michigan off the back deck. Beautiful sunsets at night. Whitetail deer and an occasional red fox frequent the area along with plenty of birds and squirrels. 20 minutes from Mackinaw City and that exciting boat ride over to Mackinaw Island. Plenty of golf courses within 15-20 minutes, both for the beginner and accomplished golfers. Close to many good fishing lakes with available boat rentals. 5 minutes from the 'tunnel of trees' for the avid cyclist or motorcycle rider. A 5 minute walk from the famous Leggs Inn and their great Polish cuisine. Also, a 5 minute walk to a great sandy beach that is never crowded.

About The Owner

I have been coming up to northern Michigan for the past 45 years. I started out in our family cottage and then, bought my own place in Cross Village. I now live in Tucson, Arizona, but always come back in the summer to enjoy the awesome sunsets on Lake Michigan. I love to golf and fish which, this cottage allows me generous opportunities for both.

The Owner purchased this cottage in 2003

Cross Village is truly a hidden gem of northern Michigan. The beaches are never crowded. It is very quiet and peaceful. Yet, you are close to all the activities of Harbor Springs, Petoskey, and Mackinaw City.

What makes this cottage unique

Golfing, fishing, hiking, or just plain relaxing on the back deck watching the freighters traveling on Lake Michigan.

just want to be the first and best review for this wonderful home away from home..i loved my stay,loved the sunsets,loved the place itself. cross village is a quaint place,bikes to ride and even a kayak for the adventerous! beautiful home,beautiful garden,incredible view..quiet,quaint,peaceful..thank you, owners,for sharing this wonderful hideaway. i loved every minute,and hope to come again!!
