Unique High End Home for Rent in Mammoth Lakes...Snow...Golf

Even before arriving to the home the owner provided excellent customer service. She provided our group with information regarding the home and the surrounding area. i.e. Transportation, Location, Amenities. As someone coming in from out of town and meeting up with the rest of the party, this was of major help to me. Upon arriving to the house the whole group was very amazed by how great the house was inside and out. Set at the end of the street surrounded by a wooded area and backed up to the Sierra Star Golf Course, it couldn't have been in a better area. The backyard had an enclosed hot tub and a great fire pit where we were able to enjoy a fire one night. As for location to everything else, it was centrally located in the best way. Walking distance to Eagle Lodge(10 mins max) and a 5-10 min drive to either the Village or Canyon Lodge. You couldn't really ask for more.
Now for the inside. The inside contained nothing but the best and was immaculate upon arrival. The wood throughout and the travertine stone heated floors were great for warming up after a day out on the slopes. We had a group of 14 and between the 4 bedrooms and the pull out beds it easily accommodated everyone. There were extra blankets, towels, etc for even a group as large as ours. The house has 5 levels but still manages to have an open feel. The living room, dining room, and kitchen all connect giving a big space to hang out. The best may have been the downstairs which had a full size pool table with a large HDTV on the wall and a movie theater that had some of the best sound I have ever heard. The movie theater had seating for 8 but more can easily fit. As for sound, the house was also wired throughout to play a multitude of different audio sources. There was an IPod/IPhone dock and a system that allowed for Pandora or other sites to be played at the click of a button. The kitchen has all upgraded appliances and was spacious. The grill was located right off the kitchen and was enclosed with heat lamps and ample lighting. Great for cold weather grilling! All in all it was the perfect home for entertaining a large group. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend/relative and would return if ever back in Mammoth Lakes.

Indeed, excitement was in the air as we flew from Florida to LA, anxiously awaiting the "hookup" with our children & grandchildren for a beautiful drive & holiday week at Mammoth. We cannot begin to describe our delight as we pulled up to this "better than the photos" home, "ooooohhhed & ahhhhhed" our way all throughout as we unloaded & unpacked----a gorgeous, warm, comfy, cozy home away from home!!! From 2 years old up to 61 years old, there was something for everyone... a marvelous home & surroundings to spend special family time making wonderful memories whether skiing (more snow than ever!), playing outside in the snow, cooking in the magnificent & well-equipped kitchen, playing board games, chilling by the fire as we enjoyed the gorgeous Christmas tree. Oh, my....it was going to be difficult to ever leave!!!!! Even doing laundry was a treat!!! If you had to be snowed in, THIS was the place to be....marvelous views from every window, door, upstairs or down & the description of location, property, amenities was accurate, but oh, so much better to see with one's own eyes. WOW!!! The owners couldn't have been more helpful, our family could not have had a more glorious time...we are so very appreciative that they would share this home with us & we felt as we enjoyed it, that we wanted to take care of it as if it was our own. We found it in perfect condition & tried to leave it as close to that as we could as we waved good-bye with hopes of returning together again one day. Many many thanks from the grandparents for all of us....it was a deliciously delightful, full of precious memories time :) :)

We had a fantastic time at your home in Mammoth. The location of the home was perfect and our kids had a great time watching movies in your theatre room and playing in the spa. We look forward to coming back in future summers. Thanks.
