Cheaper than a hotel

We stayed in this apartment in September 2011. The positive aspect to it is that it is centrally located and reasonably priced. It is located about 10 blocks from the Seine and we walked there daily. When a distance was too far to walk we took the metro available just a few blocks away.
The photos cover the layout of the space well, however, the property needs a good deep scrubbing, especially the bathroom, which isn't depicted well in the photos. There were also long hairs in the sofa bed so it really needed a good professional cleaning. It is obvious that the "renovation" has not occurred recently. Master bed was clean, sheets were new. Internet worked well as did the TV. The washing machine was very helpful as was the elevator. Bring your own soap, shampoo and extra toilet paper.
The neighborhood was diverse: Peep shows and prostitutes were comfortable right next to cathedrals and family restaurants. We didn't think the street was quiet but we always felt very safe and left our windows open at night. Our favorite restaurant turned out to be Pasta-Pa-Pa's where we ate twice.
We would stay here again only if the property managers gave the place a good scrubbing and renovated the bathroom, however, it is definitely less expensive than staying in a hotel.
