Absolutley beautiful house and grounds with endless opportunities nearby. We had a wonderful week hiking, rafting, visiting the nearby national forests and falls and exploring this breathtaking part of the country. The house had recently been updated and redecorated and is lovely! We loved the broad porches and rocking chairs, all the linens and beds were luxurious, the kitchen is extremely well equipped and a great place for everyone to gather for meals together. The views and stargazing were awesome. There are lots of quaint dining and antiquing / shopping options. There is plenty to do nearby, but sure you make time to just sit on the beautiful porches and decks and watch the sunsets and sunrises. The peace and beauty is restorative. We highly recommend a visit to this gorgeous part of the country and especially to the very unique and elegant Steeplechase.
