About Barbara Casavant
My husband, Ed, and I finally took the plunge - sold our house north of Boston and are now residents of Middletown, RI as of August 2013! We've been married 49 years. We have two children, six grandchildren, one great grandson and two Mini Schnauzers. I have a wonderful mother-in-law, who grew up in Newport and loves to spend time with us when she can.
Barbara Casavant purchased this house in 2009
Why Barbara Casavant chose Easton's Point
We have been vacationing in Newport for many years and decided it was time to purchase our own 'Seaside Escape'! We thoroughly enjoy all that Newport has to offer. Our children and grandchildren enjoy Newport as much as we do, and we know we will have frequent visitors when we finally do retire!
What makes this house unique
This sunny apartment is close enough to walk, bike or ride to all of the wonderful activities in and around Newport, including both First and Second Beaches. Located next to St. George's School, this location offers an escape from the crowds and tourists at the end of the day. It has a beautiful yard our renters can enjoy for grilling and relaxing and a deck/balcony off the master bedroom.

Dear Barb and Ed,
Thank you so much for a wonderful stay here. The accommodations were very comfortable and the location was great! We also loved the outdoor deck – it’s great. We plan on returning next year! Thanks again.
