Villa Oursinade overlooks the bay of Villefranche to Cap Ferrat and has been modernised to the highest standard. The location is perfect because it faces South, gets the sun all day and is only a 4 minute walk into the port with restaurants + shops + small supermarket . 100 metres from the beach so ideal for children . The train is a short walk and 2 stops from Nice or 6 stops to Monaco. Fully restored with marble and oak flooring throughout, fitted out with top of the range furniture and a Clive Christian kitchen. Side garden with large terrace plus two front terraces overlooking the sea. Garage for 1 car with further parking outside. Full WiFi , Sky Satellite TV, 3 bedrooms en-suite, + 2 bedrooms with bathroom beside. Perfect Air Con in every bedroom + lounge + kitchen. Heated salt (gated) swimming pool. This is one of the most outstanding villas in a quiet area . The views from this part of Villefranche are regarded as unrivaled anywhere in the word.

Best location + world class view. : This villa has been completely modernised to the highest possible standard and is very child friendly. It is located in a very secure location overlooking the bay. The heated salt pool can be locked off for child security. Everything in the villa is new and nicely arranged as follows : Entrance from front patio to large lounge with fully fitted kitchen on the right. Bedroom 5 is off the lounge. Floor 1 has a large bright hallway with the main bedroom off. This bedroom has a huge bed with special quilted underlay + 4 windows overlooking the bay. There is a terrace outside. Bedroom 2 is opposite with main bathroom off it. Laundry area is outside the back. Floor 2 has bedroom 3 and 4 with a terrace and garden off to the side.

Very central. : Villefranche is very central to all the exciting areas along the Cote d'Azur. It is located on the coast road between Nice and Monte Carlo and is particularly suitable for children as the station and buses are very close . Villefranche is a very historic location .... walk along 'Rue Obscure' to get some idea of France in the 14 the century. There are 2 old forts in Villefranche. The Old Town (4 minutes walk) has a bakery, small supermarket, newsagent, pub, many restaurants , art galleries etc. This is not just a tourist village ... most of the occupants live there.

Free parking: The kitchen and bathrooms are fitted out to the highest standard. The most impressive feature is the commanding view and the quiet location yet close to all the restaurants and shops. Parking outside is in a garage and on the road if you have a second car. Shopping can be in the Old Town or a bigger supermarket in Beaulieu-sur-Mer, next to the train station.

Villefranche is considered the most picturesque village on the Cote d'Azur and is located between Nice and Monaco with a fascinating Old Town + port. The villa is only a 3 minute walk to the beach and 4 minutes to the port. Villefranche is truly one of the world's great locations and this villa is in the best part ..... quiet, sunny, world class view and easy walk to the train. Bakery, and supermarket are also nearby. A car is not needed here although there is a garage + plenty of free parking outside. Cap Ferrat is on the opposite side of the bay and Beaulieu-sur-Mer is a 15 min walk along the seafront.

Other Activities: All beach activities.

Golf: There are several golf courses nearby.

Ski: Skiing is good from December - March and is 70 km away in Auron, Isola or Limona

Jonathan, we want to thank you for an amazing 3 weeks. The views over the bay were wonderful and the mornings magical. As stated, there was no noise and the location was perfect as it was an easy walk to the restaurants of the old port without worrying about transport. The villa decor was top class and spotless on our arrival. We especially liked the English kitchen.... very unusual.

Just to say Thanks and to tell you that we appreciated our stay in Villefranche

No surprises...and very good to work with Gaston and his son. The apartment and villa were well represented on the web and I see that comments seem to be very positive. I would say that they are better than advertised !

One small recommendation to you and Gaston.. In Oursinade, I see some cement work was done on pool landing area. Many times during the stay, especially as night approaches, As one reaches the first landing , it is not expected that there will be another small step before reaching the second set of steps. Maybe a small strip of material, or a small motion light would be good...or a warning note on the wall. No accident during the stay, but could spoil a holiday for someone.

Before you get taken in about renting a villa in the midst of the “beautiful people” of St. Jean Cap Ferrat, do some research on Villefranche-sur-Mer. I have rented in St. Jean for the past ten years, but finally gave Villefranche a try. Perhaps it was because of the glorious villa Oursinade we rented with unbeatable views including all of the houses we rented in St. Jean Cap Ferrat or perhaps it was because the weather was amazing for the winter months or perhaps it was because my kids were so mesmerized by the “cool pool” at the villa but we had our best winter vacation ever. Villefranche is more accessible, more friendly, and interesting than St. Jean Cap Ferrat which is beautiful but limited, especially since all of the estates are walled off and not visible to outsiders. Try renting a kayak in Villefranche Harbor, taking a tour of the old castle and fort, rummaging through the small outdoor antique and food market on Saturdays, or hopping on a train to just about anywhere on the coast in either direction without worrying about parking. We were two related families—five adults and two children who travel together each winter. It was ideal. Thank you!

Great Villa

I wanted to thank you for introducing us to Villa Oursinade. Because it is a new property, we were a bit nervous to rent it sight unseen. We could not have been happier. It is brand new, with very tasteful and high quality furnishings. The location just can’t be beat. We drove to Nice, Cannes, Antibes, St. Paul du Vence, and Mougin for short morning or afternoon trips—they were that close. One day, we drove 1.5 hours into the mountains and there was still snow. We could have gone skiing! Another day, we drove to Monaco in only 15 minutes and then on to Italy in time for the weekly market day in Ventimiglia. On our rest days, we just walked to town, relaxed at the beach and seaside restaurants.
