CAMPELLA- CHARMING 4 BEDROOM IN BRANTROCK

Our family had such a very enjoyable and relaxing long weekend at "Campella". Wonderful to read about the history, the area is great - lots close by to do. Loved walking into town for breakfast. Most of all... LOVE the Porch! The best spot in town.
Can't wait to come back! This may have to be a yearly visit for us.

My friends & I have stayed here 3 times this year already & will keep coming back for more for years to come. This beautiful Victorian is decorated with turn of the century antique furniture throughout all of the house (except the living room, which experiences the most wear & tear). They should have pictures of the interior on this site, as it is part of the charm & overall experience. While the beds are Victorian, the mattresses are new & we all slept quite well here. Three of the four bedrooms have water views & the cross breezes are fantastic, even on the warmest days. The bathroom is a bit on the small side, but is typical of homes from this time frame. I believe there's an outdoor shower as well. The kitchen has a gorgeous soapstone style farmers sink (that I threaten to steal every time I stay there). I would have no problem hosting a dinner party in the dining room which is also furnished with some beautiful period pieces. There is some wear & tear, but every time we stay, we notice work has been done to maintain the property. New England winters & salt air presents an ongoing challenge to homeowners living on the beach, as the upkeep is tremendous. We enjoy taking walks down to the beach & the Brant Rock center every day - restaurants like Arthur & Pat's, The Celtic, Hop, Venus, Haddad's (Best seafood!) & the Fairview are all within a 10 -15 minute walk. If you're looking for a Nantucket McMansion or something out of Coastal Living Magazine, this isn't it. But if you want a true Victorian summer cottage rental, you don't need to look further than this home. I look forward to returning to the cottage this weekend!

My family and I were renovating our house in Brant Rock and needed to live elswhere for about a year. It was one of the best years that my family has ever had! I remember being so excited at the possability of living there for a short time and when we heard that it was available we were all so excited. Of course the location can not be beat. Every night sitting on the front porch watching the tug boats go by and looking out at the Myles Standish Monument acroos the bay in Provincetown. Every morning having a cup of coffee while the lobster boats are headed out to get the daily catch. Every single day became another day to remember.
The house was perfect! Everything we needed from a fully stocked pantry to four large bedrooms with the most amazing views you could ask for. The enormous kitchen with up to date appliances was perfect for entertaining when we had guests. The gleaming hardwood floors and all the wall decorations made the home feel very warm and cozy. It truly was an honor to have spent some time in a house with such history. Thank you so much to the Tucker family for sharing such a beautiful and well kept home!
