The open concept ranch has a fantastic view of the lake from the full wall of windows and lakeside deck. The living room has a wood burning fireplace and high beamed ceilings. The kitchen and dining room open onto a patio. Three of the bedrooms have a door wall that open to a deck, two of them face the lake. New bedding, new carpet throughout this clean home. You also get a 3 car garage, a dock with seating, lots of privacy. 100 ft. of frontage and a very deep lot! There is also a lakeside fire pit.

This is a ranch with no steps, great for kids, adults and in some cases very well behaved pets. Plenty of parking, lots of trees and close to the town of Bellaire. Bring your boat and all the toys for a fantastic vacation!

There is cable TV for those evenings when you just can't miss a show and internet access.

Torch Lake: The best place to be in the Summer: Torch Lake is one of the largest lakes in Michigan with surface area of 18,770 acres and 40 miles of shoreline. It is a fabulous all-sports lake as well as great fishing lake ( lake trout, whitefish, small mouth). The beautiful color of the lake will remind you of the Caribbean!

Torch Lake is connected by rivers to Lake Bellaire, Clam Lake, Lake Skegemog, and Elk Lake. At the South end of Torch Lake there is the famous sand bar. The water level at the sandbar ranges from waist to only ankle deep. On hot summer days there are hundreds of boats anchored here!.This is a great place to wade in the water, play Frisbee, throw a football, visit with friends and enjoy a cold beverage while you work on your tan.

On the south end of Torch, is quaint town of Alden with shops and festivals. East of the lake is Bellaire with a micro brewery, grocery store and restaurants.

The area: Golf at Shanty Creek (4 wonderful courses), swim, boat, sightsee - you'll run out of time before you run out of things to do. Enjoy the local restaurants and shopping, and visit the great places in Bellaire. There is a movie theatre, video store, grocery store (Glens), some cool shops (such as Sassy Sunflower), coffee shops (Moka) and restaurants. One of our favorites is Lulu’s – and don’t miss the Bellaire Bar next door. In the resort, try Lakeview – it really does have a fantastic view of Lake Bellaire, or Ivan’s over at Schuss Village. Don't miss the, Dockside on Torch Lake i- a fun place to eat with a great setting on the lake. A few more miles will get you to Alden (don’t miss Higgins for the best ice cream around), or Traverse City, Petoskey and Charlevoix.

We cannot even begin to tell you how much we all loved the vacation house on Torch Lake. The home was absolutely perfect for our family. (The photos do not do it justice)

We were all quite sad when the week came to an end. Thank you for all of your suggestions...we loved Dockside, Mrs. Pete's and Shorts. We also tried Pearls! It was fantastic as well. We even had pizza delivered to our boat from Fabianos!

The house is lovely! We had a wonderful family get-away. You made it very easy from start to finish!
