Best condo we've ever rented
My husband and two young children stayed in this condo during the summer of 2011. During the week we were there, we had the BEST time. We were super comfy and only needed to buy groceries, nothing else. We've rented a lot of condos for vacations (ski trips, summer beach trips, etc.) And this one has them all beat.
The condo is sunny, modern and optimally located relative to the beach and a choice of two pools, one of which was saline and heated and had a large, immaculately clean hot tub with privacy fence around it. Th
Master bedroom bed is huge and high off the floor. (There's a little wooden step stool to climb up if you're short like me! We moved this to bathroom for kids to use when washing up and brushing teeth. They loved it.) There are outdoor patios on two floors, both private. Nice place to sit with a glass of wine.
There is also a great sushi place about a mile away. Good TexMex same distance. If you like boutique shopping, that is available within walking distance. Parking is easy and free in a safe, covered garage.
The maintenance people who work the gardens throughout the development are friendly. Entire development was clean and chock full of gorgeous flowers and birds. Rental office people were friendly. There's even a binder with menus of restaurants that deliver to your location.
Nice, clean sheets and towels and beach/pool toys. Kitchen is well equipped. There's even an awesome little beach tent w/ carrying bag in the hall closet. Can't imagine what more any renter could want.
We skipped LegoLand and Disney. Only took one day to go to nearby Scripps Aquarium and "Children's Beach" for seal watching, ice cream and a stroll in a municipal park along a path that skirts the cliff down to the exciting Pacific ocean. (Got a refreshing spray while near the edge when a wave crashed. Son and husband voted this best part of the day!). Spent rest of our vacation on the condo premises, perfectly content.
I literally have nothing critical to say about this place.
