The main floor is great for bay side entertaining with a fireplace/farmhouse table and comfortable seating inside and out. This home is exactly as described. Its in a wonderful location, has all facilities and equipment a family needs, is very clean and well decorated. Its directly on the beach of the 'bayside' and has a spectacular view (and is slightly quieter) which was perfect, however, its just one minute's walk over to the 'oceanside' which has the main Pacific beach and is a bit more lively. We're a family of five adults and there was enough space in the house for all of us without feeling cramped - we also got two cars in the garage ok. Sherry was very helpful with our questions before booking and the lists of good restaurants and attractions that she supplied was useful. No hesitation in saying that we would definitely go back.

Above and beyond our expectations

Sherry did an AMAZING job with every expectation. From the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out. We stayed for 6 nights and everyday was perfect. The 2 car garage fit two cars perfectly. The two story home was beautifully decorated and had all the comforts of home. It has been beautifully remodeled. The bay side was peaceful and relaxing, yet the beach side was just a short stroll away to the action. Just open the living room double doors and you are sitting along the bay. The bottle of white wine waiting for us was, once again, an unexpected, above and beyond, treat. She had everything you would have in your own home to make your stay less stressful. Would definitely recommend this home!

Lovely Getaway

The perfect home-away-from-home, this 2-story condo is in a great location on MIssion Bay. The owners were very easy to work with and have created a tastefully decorated vacation home that is well stocked with kitchen necessities and linens. The tandem garage is on the narrow side, but our rented Ford Edge fit into it easily, and we appreciated the convenience of a garage and the good security system in the house. The view of the bay from the master bedroom is beautiful, and the simple window coverings provide plenty of privacy. Since we were there in off-season, the baywalk was very quiet and is probably a lot less noisy in summer than the boardwalk on the beach side. This is a great location for exploring the San Diego area or for just relaxing and taking walks.

Lovely, comfortable home!

This home is in a great location. It is much more quiet than on the ocean/strand side. Sherry made the rental process very easy. It is walking distance to many nice restaurants (the Mission, Saska's for sushi, the Olive Cafe) and easy access to the many sights and activities San Diego has to offer. (Don't miss the Gaslamp Quarter for dinner!) It is part of a 3 unit building with a private courtyard with table and barbeque which we found very relaxing and used every day. The garage is deep but narrow. Free parking lot is just a short walk. The house is very comfortable and nicely maintained and decorated. The master bedroom is very spacious with a great view and balcony. Unlike other homes we have rented from VRBO there are no basic food items in the kitchen so be sure to bring what you need as well as beach towels and beach toys/chairs. We look forward to staying here again in the future!

The Perfect Location!

The location of this property is perfect for exploring the San Diego area. Balboa Park, the zoo and Sea World were all a quick, easy drive. Great restaurants were within walking distance (we loved The Mission for breakfast) and we really liked being on the quiet side of the waterfront. The property was spotless and well maintained and the kitchen was extremely well stocked. We hope to return again soon!
