Birdland!...No it's not Alfred Hitchcock's greatest horror. It's actually the very nice Centrally Located community of Serra Mesa, sometimes called 'Birdland' because all the streets are named after birds. It is a Residential Neighborhood just north of Mission And Fashion Valleys, 1 mile from the entrance to Interstate 163 that connects to other major freeways, and about a Ten-Minute Drive(traffic notwithstanding) to most Military Bases, the Beaches, SDSU, UCSD, downtown San Diego, Balboa Park, the zoo, Sea World, Qualcomm Stadium, Petco Park, Old Towne, Seaport village, and the main Airport. It is 20 minutes to the Tiajuana border and 30 minutes to Legoland, the Wild Animal Park, and several casinos. It is a truly Wonderful Location!

This is a Bargain at the price! Furnished house, 3 bedroom 2 baths in a comfortable residential neighborhood. Newly renovated and beautifully decorated.

Hi. I'm a retired lawyer. My hobbies are playing duplicate bridge and watching football! I lived in this home for over 20 years so it is near to my heart. I try to maintain it just as I did when I lived in it. It's also near to most places you'd want to visit in San Diego...including 10 minutes to the beach. The Wild Animal Park and the Tijuana border are about 20 - 30 minutes away. Naval bases are 10 - 15 minutes. It's just a mile off Interstate 163 that connects with the other freeways. Sits up on a mesa where it is often above the weather.

We stayed here for two weeks during a relocation from Austin to San Diego. Very comfortable and very nicely furnished. Our 4-year old son loved the bunk beds in his room. Convenient location. The owner was great to work with. I would highly recommend this property.

We stayed for 1 month Feb 2009. The home is very spacious it is large enough for a large family. The interior is nicely decorated and furnished with all the things you need to make your stay comfortable. The back yard is perfect for pets and our two dogs loved it. Wonderful to have a washer and dryer on site. Close to 163 and 8 freeways close to shopping and vacation spots making it all the nicer for the traveler.
