Kingston is a five star oceanfront gated resort with 24hr security. You can log on at Kingstonplantation to see all the ammenities. We have recently had some upgrades done: Granite countertops & vanities in the kitchen and bathrooms, all new faucets, new Tommy Bahama bedspreads & drape in the 2nd bedroom - pictures coming soon.
The master has a king bed and there are 2 queen beds in each of the other bedrooms, The sofa also makes into a bed. The 3rd bedroom is a lockout unit - one bedroom/one bath/2 double beds that has, it's own small fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, hightop table & chairs, and a private balcony. It also has a comfy chair to relax in. It can be added to the 2bdrm/2bath unit to create the 3bdrm/3bath condo at an additional charge. There is a double door that locks from both sides between the 2 bedroom and 1 bedroom units.
It is beautifully furnished with light & breezy colors throughout.
Kitchen & bathrooms are ceramic tile. There is a large flat screen TV in the living room and master bedroom and the guest bedroom also have flatscreens. The lockout unit has a wall installed flat screen.
There is a separate vanity/sink area outside of the master bath and it has a tub/shower combo. The guest bath has a tub/shower combination as well as the 3rd bath. There is a full size washer & dryer in the 2 bdrm/2bath unit for your use. If a port-a-crib is needed please request early to insure availability. There is parking in front of the building.
Relax on the balcony while watching the waves roll onto the shore as you enjoy your morning coffee or an evening cocktail while watching the sunset. All linens & towels are provided.
The complimentary hotel shuttle service provides transportation to nearby shopping, eating, etc and runs from 7 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
There is also a Tiki bar & outdoor cafe located here and an Omaha Steak House. Try the Coastal Grill for lunch Kingston also has - Vintage Twelve - an ocean view restaurant serving traditional southern favorites and low country selections. There is also the Cafe Amalfi for fine dining. There is a fishing pier a short walk down the beach with a cafe (good food & resonable prices) & Arcadian Shores Golf Course across the street from the main gate. The full-time golf staff will be happy to book tee times and give tips on preferred rates.
There are lighted tennis courts, racquetball courts, a volleyball court, health club, pools, a splash water park and several hot tubs. Take a walk and enjoy the beautiful and colorful manicured landscaping of this 145 acre prime resort. This is a place you will want to come back to year after year!
We are located close to Restaurant Row - some of our favorite restaurants are Cagneys, Rossis, Carrabbas, Bonefish, and Finn McCools (best peel & eat shrimp anywhere). Take in some of the entertainment that is only a 5-15 minute drive away: Barefoot Landing & Tanger Outlet - shopping, Carolina Opry, Alabama Theatre, Dixie Stampede, Alligator Adventure, Broadway at the Beach, Nascar, Ripley's Aquarium and many more.
We require a $200 - $300 damage/security deposit, 50% of the rate to secure reservation and the remaining 50% is due 3 weeks prior to arrival date. You will find our rates SIGNIFICANTLY lower than the resorts charges. Damage/security deposit will be refunded within 10 business days of departure/inspection. Damage, missing or broken items, etc will be deducted from deposit if necessary. There is a $40 - $100 departure cleaning fee (depending on # of rooms & length of stay) or $19/daily cleaning fee
This is a NON-SMOKING, PET FREE unit. ***If it is discovered that there is smoking or a pet in the unit you will FORFEIT your damage/security deposit & the remainder of your stay will be canceled.***
