Our beautiful Condo-privately owned-is located in Historic Building 50 within the quaint Village of Grand Traverse Commons. It is within walking or biking distance to the downtown Traverse City district which offers excellent shopping, restaurants, brew pubs, movie theater, bookstore, opera house and much more! There are many golf courses nearby, Interlochen music camp is just a few miles away, as are the Sleeping Bear Dunes. Fishing is plentiful in many area lakes or rivers and fly fishing with a guide can be arranged, there are great quilt shops, and also the beautiful vast beaches of The Grand Traverse Bay (Lake Michigan) with beach volleyball, water sports, boating and more!
The Historic property is fun to tour. There are multiple marked walking or biking trails right out the door, the Mercato located in the lower level offers an ongoing art exhibit, Gallery 50, a host of chic boutiques, a flower shop, Trattoria Stella restaurant, a salon & spa, yoga, Silvertree deli/market, Black Star Farms Winery, and Cuppa Joe Coffee shop. On the property is the Brick Oven Bakery, the Cheesecake Company, Left Foot Charlie winery and Higher Grounds coffee bar & roastery.
There is just a wonderful atmosphere present in the Village at the Grand Traverse Commons and the entire Traverse City area offers a vast array of entertainment for all seasons! The more time you spend here the more you'll discover and love about it.
There are also the casinos, a water park, and winery tours & tasting on the old Mission and Leelanau Peninsulas where the spring cherry, peach, & apple blossoms are breathtaking.
