If you prefer the tranquil ambiance of a mountain retreat, but with down comforters, Natuzi leather chairs, and the option to ring for room service from a 5 star restaurant, then you should definitely call me. Attractively decorated and tastefully appointed with certified 'Protect- a-Bed' mattresses and boxspring encasements found in many high-end hotels... kid friendly, but not through sacrifice of adult tastes ... the accommodations capture an elegant 'homey-ness' yet with all the amenities of a world class resort and spa.
Located in the heart of the resort, this two bedroom condo has over 1000 square feet contained in two living levels. The second level is a full loft with cathedral ceiling, full bath and play room. The large furnished deck is private and overlooks wooded terrain and a small stream.
Conveniently located, you are in walking distance to the spa and many other resort activities. And for additional convenience there is a free shuttle which can take you to any and all of the other resort facilities...from the world class golfing and shooting academy, to the wild animal habitat and equestrian center, to the restaurants (one with free standing aquarium and pool hall)to the entertainment complex. There is also a mountaintop heated condo pool with lifeguard, beach towels, lounge chairs, tables and vending machines. Or if the snow keeps you from the outdoor pool, snuggle in front of a log burning fireplace with board games and complimentary hot chocolate and popcorn...after the horse drawn sleigh ride of course.
Or if you want an intimate evening with dinner and cocktails, start with a massage or one of the other 100+ treatment and salon services at the internationally acclaimed Feng Shui-inspired spa. It was rated #10 Resort Spa in North America and #4 Conde Nast 'Top Spas for Treatment'. Next, drop the young ones off at the Kids Club and send the teens safely on the shuttle to 'The Wildside' Entertainment Complex with its 65+ arcades,8 bowling alleys, indoor climbing wall and pool tables. Finally...your time! So stroll the halls of the chateau and chalet, wine glass in hand, as you head to the Mobil 5 Star, AAA 5 Diamond Lautrec or one of the other esteemed resort restaurants.
And once you've exhausted what you thought had to be all the resort activities, take advantage of the instruction of an acclaimed PGA Master Professional at the new state of the art 360 degree computerized Nike Fitting System. THAT will help master your game on the resort's Par 72, 7,526 yard PGA tested course, recently awarded the 2010 Gold Medal Award by Golf Magazine. But if golf's not your thing, try out the Orvis-endorsed Fly Fishing Center's half or full day guided river trips or one of their casting and tying lesson. Or maybe check out the 35 stations with towers, the 5 stand pavilion, and the integrated Wobble Trap Field at the 140 acre Shooting Academy. Or how about the three challenging Off-Road Terrain Courses and 600 wooded acres awaiting the nourishment of all that human adrenalin? But I MUST warn you to watch out for the stalking black leopard on the Safari Trail or even the lions that you pass while biking or walking the grounds. I would like you to rent from me again.
But wait, there's more!! Why not take a scenic 15 minute drive to explore glorious Ohiopyle State Park and walk or bike the fantastic trails or feel the rush of adrenalin as you brave the perils of white-water rafting. Or about the same distance away you can have a tour of Frank Lloyd Wright's magnificent Falling Water. And finally, don't forget all those antique shops, flea markets and historic landmarks just a stone's throw from the condo.
And if you need more room, or possibly even a smaller condo, contact me for details on additional options available to you.

My husband and I bought our condo when our daughter was eleven years old. It afforded us an opportunity to escape from the city and 'camp out' while still being culturally spoiled. It afforded our family an opportunity to ski, horseback ride, paintball, play tennis and swim. In addition, our daughter had the opportunity to role play 'Eloise at the Plaza', taking the shuttle on her own to any and all new and daring adventures. She experienced so much of life there. From the deck I can still see fragments of the streamers which hung from the trees near the various clubhouses she and her Nemacolin friends built over the years. She is now in her first year of medical school and her play room, still intact, is now for our guests to enjoy, even to write their names and personal notes on its walls as she did (yes, moms and dads, it IS Ok, but only the play room, please). Commitments and obligations now keep me from enjoying the place as I once did but when it's not rented and I am free, I think nothing of taking off at midnight so I can wake up there to all the things that first captivated me, from the wooded terrain to the art, the spa and the food...the place has it all. I love the condo and its memories. I think you will too.
My condo is in the center of its own glorious world. Within a few minutes, either walking or driving, I am exposed to art and architecture; the best martini I've ever had; a fully equipped state of the art gym and spa; great shopping (that's where I buy most of my presents); prime golf and clay shooting; the most serene snowfalls and autumn foliage; lions, tigers and bears (Oh My!) and a safe and fun-filled environment for kids. It's a paradise.
