Luxury Getaways has built another beautifully appointed ski chalet in the gated community of Mt. Baker Rim. Located at the gateway to Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest and the Mt. Baker Ski Area, this vacation home was built for entertaining in the mountains. At 3 stories, each level is designed for the perfect setting.

This was once a pet friendly home and the owners bring their pets. This is not a low-allergen home.

With a Master Bedroom in the loft and on the bottom floor, you can choose your perfect room. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom with another 1/2 bath on the main floor.

The rec room has custom built bunks (two twin beds) with cubbies and reading lights, leather loveseat and couch with pull out queen sleeper, gas fireplace, Full Size Air Hockey Table, TV with VCR and DVD player. The home also has secure WIFI (HughesNet satellite). In inclement weather conditions, the satellite internet and TV may not work.

The main floor is all entertainment with one large great room with a floor to ceiling gas rock fireplace. There is a huge gourmet kitchen with gas range, granite counter tops, bar/barstools, and is well equipped with everything you could possibly need to prepare a gourmet meal.

The full size dining table seats 8 and theres plenty of room for lounging on the leather furniture in the living room that overlooks the snowcapped mountains!

This was a very nice, comfortable cabin which served as a fantastic base for our outdoor activities: snowboarding at Mt. Baker as well as hiking on the nearby trails. The leather sofas in the living room were great to lounge on and enjoy the expansive mountain views (during the day) or watch videos from at night. The huge windows let a lot of light and warmth in -- definitely a plus in this mountain environment! We loved the cozy master suite downstairs: comfortable bed and very private and quiet.

Recommended for: Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
