Location and Luxury: You won’t find a city neighborhood as safe and nice as the heart of Dupont Circle, which is why we’re sure you’ll be glad you selected our home! For those unfamiliar with DC, Northwest DC (NW) is by far the safest area and even within NW there are big differences. Our condo is in the heart of one of the best areas of DC (not blocks away from it). It is completely new inside with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, fireplace, 2 TVs, free wireless Internet and cable TV and it opens to private courtyard with patio furniture and a charcoal grill. Depending on your needs/availability, sleeping accommodations include either a king and queen bed w/full sleeper sofa or a queen and 2 twin beds. Steps to restaurants, shops, etc. and short walk to DC attractions (Georgetown, White House, National Mall, museums, art galleries), 2.5 blocks to metro station, 2 blocks to DC tour bus stop and steps away from restaurants, shopping, groceries.

Prime Neighborhood: Dupont Circle Historical District is one of Washington's best neighborhoods and is considered one of the safest areas. Dupont Circle is a cosmopolitan neighborhood with some of Washington, DC's finest museums, historic homes and foreign embassies as well as a variety of ethnic restaurants, bookstores, and private art galleries. This neighborhood is the heart of Washington, DC’s nightlife. The Dupont Circle community has lots of high-rise apartment buildings and many rowhouses which have been converted into apartments. The Circle itself is a gathering place with park benches, grass and a unique fountain in the center.

A Great Base To Explore Washington

We are a family of 4 from Sydney Australia that recently spent 4 days in Washington at the start of our 4 week holiday in the U.S. The apartment was very well appointed and comfortable and had everything we required. The only thing one could say was missing was an electric kettle which would may preferred by Australian and UK holidaymakers.
The location was in an upmarket area of Washington, a 5 minute walk to shops and restaurants and 2 blocks from the Metro. Walking time to the White House was about 20 minutes.
The apartment was very quiet day or night and the queen-sized bed was very comfortable. The owners Jennifer and Jim were very friendly and accommodating. The WiFi was fast and secure and worked well throughut our stay.
We would not hestitate to here again on our next trip to Washington.

Beautiful Condo and Great location

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful condo. It is completely renovated and so clean and comfortable. It is also very well stocked with dishes, appliances, toilet paper, paper towels, dish/laundry detergent, coffee, filters, sugar, and cream! That is a rare find. The beds were very comfortable. Our two boys (ages 10 & 13) loved the spiral staircase and having their own bedroom and bathroom below. We felt incredibly safe as it is located in a locked courtyard and our car was in a locked garage. We didn't have to move it once until we left. The condo is so convenient to restaurants, metro and grocery but it is such a quiet street. We especially liked the Firehook Bakery and went there several times for breakfast and afternoon pastries. Annie's Steakhouse was also a wonderful find. A little pricey but worth it. Delicious steaks and prime rib with amazing service. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Jim and Jennifer were so nice and helpful. They responded to emails quickly and were just a phone call away. They really have thought of everything to make this a great vacation rental!

Wonderful condo and area

Terrific week in DC!

My husband and I and our two girls, ages 10 and 13, had a terrific week at Jennifer's lovely place in Dupont Circle, and as a family of 4 we had plenty of room to relax, spread out, and enjoy. The location and accommodations were excellent. The apartment was clean and well-maintained, as well as quiet, and the proximity to Safeway and CVS allowed us to easily purchase everything we needed for our visit. The proximity to the Metro stop was also terrific, though we walked a lot too since it is really not that far from the apartment to the White House, the monuments, the Mall, and many other important sites and sights! I would certainly stay here again if the property is available at the time of our next visit, and I would recommend Jennifer's lovely place to any of my friends or family members who are looking for accommodations for 4-6 people in DC.

Great Location & Great Place!

Just got home from a 3 night stay at the Cottage on Dupont Circle. It far exceeded our expectations with the beautiful hardwood floors, granite counter tops, comfy living space, & clean bedroom & baths. Talk about location, well this is it. It's a short walk to the Metro, therefore easily accessible to all of DC. We found the supermarket & great restaurants just a few blocks over on Q & 17th streets. The area is exquisite with it's lovely homes & building & we felt safe walking & exploring even in the late evening hours. Jennifer was great with booking & questions but I am glad to say I never really needed her as the apartment was perfect. I will definitely recommend the Cottage to any one who wants a great place & area while is DC. I already miss it.
