In May of 2011 we completed an extensive renovation.....brand new kitchen with all new appliances as well as new furniture. Our kitchen is fully equipped if you choose to dine in, and we have a 47 inch flat screen HDTV with Time Warner Sports and Entertainment package, and a BluRay DVD player. Unprotected high-speed wireless internet service is included.
It's a short walk to the beach on Calibogue Sound facing Daufuskie Island. Sunsets can be stunning. You have a great chance of seeing dolphins frolicking in the Sound or you can rent jet-skis or kayaks at the marina and see the dolphins up close. Walk to the left around the tip of the island for a few minutes and you're facing the Atlantic Ocean.
We have had great comments from previous repeat renters about how comfortable they are here, and what great vacations they have enjoyed.
Other amenities in Sea Pines include dolphin cruises, nature cruises and world-class golf on three courses - Harbor Town Golf Links, Ocean Course and Heron Point by Pete Dye. And it's a runner's paradise!
Owners Tom and Ann Wolfe are running, walking, biking, golfing, tennis playing, horseback riding parents/grandparents living in Franklin, Tennessee.
We have been vacationing in Hilton Head since 1972 and finally decided that we couldn't find any place more special than the South Beach area of Sea Pines Plantation. On a Valentine's Day weekend in 2000, we made the plunge into condo ownership and haven't regretted a moment of it! Walking the beach around sunset on a calm evening while watching the dolphins, or riding bikes to breakfast in Harbor Town or Coligny Plaza on a wide, beautiful beach on a sunny morning just can't be beat!
The beach is a wonderful place to ride bikes, especially when the tide is out. We have travelled the entire 13 miles of the Hilton Head Island beach and back, and love the challenge. Bike trails meander through Sea Pines and out to the rest of the island for shopping and dining.
