Enjoy this tastefully decorated 3 bedroom/2 bath/sleeps 10 two-story townhouse. You can relax at the house and still enjoy the sun, view, & sounds of the beach on one of the three decks.
LOCATION - LOCATION - LOCATION:
Located ocean side on 78th street in midtown Ocean City, MD, Captain's Bridge #2 is just a few steps to the beach. No high rises and very little development on the bay side make 78th street very quiet and this beach is one of the least densely populated in Ocean City! It's a great spot for families with children and couples who want a truly restful vacation. Within walking distance to some great restaurants and a short drive to the grocery store. Bus service is terrific here.
KITCHEN:
Renovated in 2010, fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar and stools features refrigerator, dishwasher, oven with smooth top range, built in microwave, and garbage disposal. The kitchen also provides all utensils, plates, cookware, baking dishes, coffee maker, toaster, and blender.
LIVING ROOM:
The spacious living room offers a queen sleeper/sofa along with several accent chairs, custom made window treatments, LCD flat screen TV, DVD/VCR Player, and ceiling fan. Walk outside to the front deck and view the ocean over the dunes or sit in a rocker and enjoy the sounds of the ocean.
DINING AREA:
The dining area comfortably seats 6 adults and provides plenty of storage for napkins, extra food, etc. in the side table and corner cabinet. Alternatively, walk outside to the rear deck and eat your meal at the picnic table that seats 10. Slider off dining room was replaced in 2012.
MASTER BEDROOM:
The spacious master bedroom features a queen bed (replaced in 2012) and a full sized bed, 2 side tables and lamps, full length dresser and mirror, TV, ceiling fan, iron and ironing board, and a nice sized closet. Enjoy views of the ocean while relaxing in bed or walk outside to a private balcony with fantastic views of the ocean and distant views of the Assawoman Bay. You can enjoy both the sunrise and sunset from this one balcony while relaxing to the sounds of the ocean from the double chaise or one of the wicker chairs.
BEDROOM 2:
This cozy bedroom features a queen bed (replaced in 2012), side table and lamp, and a nice sized closet with a closet organizer containing drawers (closet organizer new in 2012).
BEDROOM 3:
This cozy bedroom is decorated in a nautical theme and features a pyramid bunk bed (twin over full) (new in 2013), side table and lamp, and a nice sized closet with a closet organizer containing drawers (closet organizer new in 2013).
1ST FLOOR FULL BATH:
This very clean full bath provides a stand up shower. It was renovated in 2010 with a new sink/vanity, toilet, floor, and is warmly decorated in a sunrise yellow with white bead board.
2ND FLOOR FULL BATH:
Completely renovated in 2011 with new shower, sink, toilet, floor, walls, and fixtures.
PARKING:
2 private parking spaces in the rear provide stress free parking. Additional first-come-first-served private parking spaces are also available in the rear. Public parking is available on the street in front of the building.
ADDITIONAL FEATURES:
Original pine hardwood floors throughout (with area rugs for comfort), tongue and groove pine beamed ceilings add character to this spacious town home. A warm private shower in the rear provides comfort when rinsing off after returning from the beach. From the shower, walk up several steps to the back deck and store your beach equipment in the outside storage area. You enter the house from there to return to the comfort of home.
OUR PHILOSOPHY:
We have a lot of pride in our property and want all of our guests to have a very comfortable stay. We strive for a very clean, up to date, well decorated property. Our housekeeper takes a lot of pride in her work. All of our guests have been extremely happy with the cleanliness upon arrival. We spend time before every rental season making improvements to our property so all items are in working order, up to date, and comfortable (See below for the list of improvements we have made so far.). We supply many starter amenities so you have less to pack and don't need to run to the grocery store right away. After every rental, we ask our guests for suggestions for improvements and make as many as possible during the next off season. We hope you will enjoy our property as much as we do!

2011 - complete renovation of 2nd floor bath; painted 2nd floor hall; installed new window treatment in dining area; replaced all 2nd floor baseboards; replaced 2 blankets
2012 - replaced rear slider; replaced queen bed in master bedroom; replaced queen bed in 2nd bedroom; installed closet organizer in 2nd bedroom; replaced bedspreads in master bedroom; replaced picnic table; replaced bar stools; replaced plumbing under house and added warm water to the outdoor shower
2013 - replaced full bed in bedroom 3 with a pyramid bunk (twin over full); installed a closet organizer in bedroom 3; still more to come ...
