Additional Activities & Interesting Facts: World renowned flat fishing, including Bone fish, Tarpon, and Permit, and deep sea fishing, including Grouper, Sailfish, and El Dorado. Bird watching the Sian Ka'an, Cenote diving and snorkeling, sightseeing the Tulum ruins. Just a short distance from the house is a Mayan lighthouse. This lighthouse was used for night fishing hundreds of years ago to exactly pinpoint the location of a cenote in the lagoon where bountiful fish awaited. The Mayans would light a small fire in the lighthouse and when lined up directly in the line of sight of the fire, they would be directly over the cenote. It's paradise! Need we say more?
