Relax on the perfectly secluded and private air conditioned timber frame cabin with hot tub and wood burning fire place on ninety-two acres of pristine mountain property. Picked as one of the 'TOP TEN BEST HIDAWAYS' in the world by OUTSIDE MAGAZINE!

Light a fire in the fire place (fire wood's included!), tune your favorite music on the XM satellite radio and chill out in perfect seclusion with a glass of wine while listening to the natural sounds of the forest and pond.

After a long soak in the front porch hot tub turn in to your custom built king size bed with four hundred count egyptian cotton linens. Next to the bed room is your large bathroom complete with antique claw foot bath tub, two person shower and bidet! Custom soaps and shampoo's are included.

Wake up to a fully equipped kitchen and refrigerator stocked with locally produced breakfast items like fresh baked bread, farm fresh eggs, OJ and coffee and tea. After breakfast, get out and walk the property's many miles of trails. Our newest trail called 'The Big Rock Candy Mountain' trail, nearly three miles long and will take you to the top of our mountain through the deep forest, past the big rocks. It's a great way to see the property and offers some fantastic mountain views.

Feeling lazy? Just hang out in the Hammock Island gazebo surrounded by the aqua garden of brightly colored lilly pad blooms!

Cross over our waterfall walking bridge to the croquet and horse shoe regulation court which are ready and open for a rousing round of play. When done slip under the bridge to the waterfall swimming hole for a refreshing water fall cool water soak!

Visit and take a personally guided tour of on site The Historic Albertus Ledbetter House' c.1826 and visit the farm's totally unique spring house. Imagine your self back in the day on this totally self producing early eighteenth century working farm.

About The Owner

Zee and Arthur came to the farm in 1998 after careers in the airline industry and restored the Historic Albertus Ledbetter house c.1826. We have two pups Mr. Jerry Lee a dalmation mix and Miss Belle (aka Chickie!) a Yorkie) and are part of our welcoming party. We will be happy to give a personal tour of the Historic Albertus Ledbetter House and help with local directions or attractions in our area.

What makes this cabin unique

We have three ponds on the property with gazebo's on stilts over the ponds. Because of our central and 'easy to get to' location, both Zee and Arthur will help you find the best places to eat and and cool places to visit. We provide discounted Chimney Rock Park and Biltmore Estate and free local information from our 'on site' day tour desk.
