A low-rise building on the water, with a unique open design like this one is very rare in Tokyo.
I completely agree with everything written in the other reviews. I do not have much to add, but I just wanted to add a recent review on the site. The Tokyo Bay Penthouse was amazing! We had our family of 6 stay for 5 days- 2 parents and 4 adult children. We definitely utilized the supermarket daily and ate breakfast in the apartment each morning before heading out for the day. I was a little uncertain about wiring the money, and I did purchase the travel insurance, just in case. But, everything in the apartment is just as the pictures show and as described. Perfect!! Highly recommended if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo each night :) We reserved the private mini van service recommended by Brad, for our transport from and to Narita. Definitely worth the money for our large family. Efficient and stress-free. Thanks, Brad!!!
We've spent time in this apartment for 10 nights. Our family has 4 adults (my parents,me and my husband) and 2 kids(7 yrs,5yrs).When we've arrived at Haneda Airport,Brad told us to take a monorail from the 3rd floor of the airport to the Tennozu Isle station which can go by the rapid train and local train.Only 20-30 mins including walk we can reached apartment. The location is very easy to access from Haneda Airport. For the price is very decent for where it is located(nice view)and luxury apartment. You can walk to the monorail station from the apartment which can connect to train station, i always used Yamanote Line to got in the heart of Tokyo such as Shinjuku. You can cook at apartment just stop at supermarket near by the monorail station which is big and have everything.Brand managed the Japanese lady and can speak eng to check in and check out,she has showed up on time. And also Brad managed taxi to pick up us from apartment to Shinagawa Station(10 mins) for take Narita Express to Narita Airport.I would return to this apartment for sure.
Property was very nice and clean. Had everything we expected and more. Owner's wife even made homemade gyoza that was left in the freezer for us. Owner was very helpful and made it easy to contact him if we had any problems/questions. Located in a more a quiet part of town, about a 5-7 minute walk to the nearest monorail station that takes you to the main subway lines and you can get anywhere from there so keep that in mind. Beautiful views and would recommend to others.
Bel appartement de standing , très grand, moderne , beaucoup de cachet. Très lumineux . Proximité métro, permettant de rejoindre le centre de Tokyo en 15 mn. Grand Supermarché à 15 mn a pied. Convient idéalement jusqu' a 5 personnes.
This is the perfect place to stay in Tokyo if you want to experience the city without being overwhelmed by the crowds and the noise. It has stunning views of the Tokyo skyline and the bay from the living room, balcony and the rooftop deck. This luxury apartment has everything you could want, plus there is a grocery store and convenience store within easy walking distance. It is just on the edge of the bay, so you get the views you couldn't get otherwise, plus it is quiet.
Then, when you're ready to immerse yourself, the monorail is a 5 minute walk away to take you one station to the entire JR Yamanote circle line train that literally takes you anywhere in Tokyo you need to be. With a JR rail pass, the monorail and entire JR system is included.
Brad is also the perfect host, providing any information you need at any time. He even provides the "Brad Phone" to take with you to get in touch with him if you get lost (it can happen in largest city in the world).
Brad was really helpful. One of us left a daily prescription at home and Brad got us in touch with an English speaking clinic with doctors and pharmacy on-site. The price was even reasonable, considering we were so far away from home. The fact that the clinic is across the street from Tokyo Tower means we didn't even need to stop our site seeing to take care of things.
This is really the perfect luxury place to stay in Tokyo with views, convenience, quiet, and modern conveniences. Highly recommended!
I'd echo others comments. this experience was first class.
I had some reservations about making a paypal payment to someone in Tokyo, what if they never showed up and we just lost our money- I should never have been concerned. Brad (the owner) was so helpful and always available with quick responses to email.
The pictures DO NOT do this place justice, it's very well appointed, fittings and furnishings are high end and Brad has gone the extra mile to provide instructions and guidance on everything from the Aircon., the TV channels line up to getting around on the metro.
We were there in the Winter so could not really enjoy the rooftop but imagine it would be great to sit out in the summer with a glass of wine.
The place is very private, not overlooked and has a fantastic view.
it's a 10 min walk to the monorail and then a stop to the metro before you really get heading into downtown. so a trip into town can take about 30 minutes before you really get anywhere and as it's different lines you need to pay separately for the monorail. Worth noting but really not that big of a deal and we got around just fine.
I would recommend this to friends and family without a second thought, Best place we've found on VRBO to date.
