Extensive library present at the premises. A master suite with sweeping valley views and private dressing room and thermal spa bath. Two additional rooms with shared bath and a children's third floor nursery/playroom with three beds. Décor and setting provide American comfort with European antique furnishings. The valley side of the house is surrounded by a flagstone terrace with seating over the full length, accessible by French doors across the entire side of the house. The end of the terrace includes a separate seating area and a heated dipping pool. Nestled between mature plantings is a children's play structure and zip wire.
Located within a few miles of the picturesque town center of Washington, the Mayflower Inn & Spa, 20 min. to Mohawk Ski Area, 5 min to New Preston and Lake Waramaug, Hidden Valley is the perfect location to enjoy multiple country and fine dining options, hiking, upscale shopping, exceptional antiquing, historic homes and gardens, and other outdoor activities nearby.
The house can be rented for more extended visits during the summer months and over the major holidays. For the rest of the year the house is available as a Bed and Breakfast or short term rental for family reunions or a romantic get-away.
Hidden Valley welcomes discerning guests who are hoping to find a private escape and comfortable lodging, 2 hours drive from New York City and an easy hour from Bradley International Airport in Hartford/Springfield. It is close to many boarding schools in the Litchfield Hills of Northwestern Connecticut.

As Hidden Valley is on a hill and dead-end road, there is absolute peace and quiet with gorgeous views over Hidden Valley-Steep Rock Nature Reserve.Two wood burning fireplaces provide comfort and extra warmth during the winter. The wrap around flagstone terrace provides a unique setting for summer dining, lounging or entertaining.
