Great open layout with fully equipped kitchen and comfy sectional sofa bed (sleeps 2) in living room and dining area big enough for 4. Bedroom has Queen bed and huge closet. 32' Flat screen TV with cable, DVD player, cable internet and Local Phone. Jacuzzi tub in bathroom, and great panoramic views from building's rooftop deck. Free dedicated off-street parking spot.

Ideally located just one block from the beach and the vibrant shops and restaurants of Davie Street. Walking distance to Vancouver Convention Center and all Downtown attractions, including: English Bay, Stanley Park & Aquarium, Open air and indoor swimming pools, Canada Place, Theaters, Cinemas and downtown shopping district. Walk and ferry to Granville Island, Science World and Bard on the Beach.

20 - 30 minute drive to North Shore Mountains for snow sports, hiking, biking etc. 1- 3 hour drive to the attractions of Whistler, the Fraser Valley or even Seattle!

About The Owner

I am a freelance consultant who loves to travel, and I lovingly furnished this wonderfully located condo to be what I would love to find in a home away from home. I have designed it to be equally suitable for a couple or a small family, having experienced many great vacations in owner rented apartments with my own daughter.

The Owner purchased this condo in 2009
Why The Owner chose Vancouver

Location, location, location! I love to grab a coffee to go around the corner on funky Davie street, then in 5 minutes be relaxing on the beach with it. In summer time I love to stroll along the seawall to English Bay (also great to bike) swim in the great outdoor pool at Second Beach, or explore Stanley Park. In the evenings there's a huge range of restaurants within a few blocks, and movie or live theater within walking distance. It's a perfect combination of the vibrant city buzz and the chilled out beach life!

I have created a tranquil space in the heart of the city, relaxed and elegant living space to take time out from your busy sightseeing schedule. Take a drink and the paper up to the building's roof deck to unwind with a spectacular view over English Bay.

Accurate property description. We had a lovely time. Amazing location, 2 blocks to English Bay, 2 blocks to Davie Street. Parking space was also essential. Very comfortable accommodations everything you could need. Don't expect a view though.. Highly recommended.

Enjoyed our stay, but some caveats

First, this condo is located perfectly if you plan on spending a lot of time downtown. Vancouver is pretty compact already, but the condo's location in the West End made it easy to walk to Stanley Park and many excellent restaurants in the West End and Yaletown were within walking distance.

One of our disappointments involved a 15-minute wait for the woman who was to let us in. For us, it wasn't the greatest experience to arrive without a welcome after traveling, and it seemed unprofessional. In addition, the place was a bit smaller than expected (honestly, we couldn't imagine i accommodating more than two people) carpets and couches were stained. Although we never used the balcony in the suite because the view was a parking lot, the rooftop deck had amazing views of the fireworks during the Celebration of Light show. This place is a good value for the money and would be suitable for a couple looking to travel on a budget, but there are certainly some caveats which we were not aware of. We might not have chosen this condo if we were aware of its disadvantages, though we did enjoy our stay overall and appreciated getting a relative bargain.

Owner's Response: This is the first time in 2.5 years we have had less than 5 stars! What a shame that Steve didn't let us know he was disappointed and give us a chance to rectify anything within our control, we are always happy to help!

We had very good time, the suite has excellent location, it has all necessary to stay, the owner and manager are very helpful people. We recommend it.
