Our home is located on Secret Key Cv, a private street upon entering the 5 Star Award Winning Emerald Island Resort and only a 4 minute walk to the Resort Clubhouse and 3 Mile drive to Disney. Our home backs onto forest conservation land providing the ultimate level of privacy and serenity. Only a short distance away discover the magic of Disney, golf at the world's premier courses, shop until you drop, or treat yourself to fine cuisine.
Our home starts with an entrance porch leading to a spacious first family and dining room complete with a sofa set,1080P HD LCD Big Screen 47' TV with Blu-Ray Player, and formal dining table set. A well equipped kitchen includes modern stainless steel appliances (fridge with ice maker, stove, microwave oven, garborator, dishwasher) with cutlery and serving dishes for 10, coffee maker, kettle, toster, toaster oven, George Forman Grill, and ice crushing blender. The kitchen has a separate eating area which leads into a second family room that overlooks the pool & spa area. The second family room comes complete with a full leather sofa and love seat set including a queen sized sleeper, a 42' Plasma HDTV, and DVD/CD Player. The second family/kitchen area share a ceiling fan for improved air circulation.
The layout of the home is on a single level with no stairs offering improved access for elderly, handicapped, and wheelchair guests. All common areas are tiled and the bedrooms have new laminate flooring. The entire home has been re-painted with soft earth-tone colors. All common areas have vaulted ceilings.
The patio doors open to the pool and upgraded Whirlpool Jacuzzi spa enclosed in an extended screened deck perfect for sun tanning with a removable security fence for child protection. The whirlpool has upgraded jacuzzi jets with a timer and the pool area is equipped with an outdoor patio set including zero-gravity loungers. The pool area faces south west and enjoys sunshine throughout the day. The combination pool & whirpool spa is one of the larger pools for homes in the community. Where pool heat is selected, the spa heats to temparatures of approximately 98F and the pool to approximately 85F.
Four bedrooms (with 2 Master Bedrooms) offer a new king size bed set, new queen size bed set, a guest room with twin beds, and a chlidren's room with double bunk beds. The rooms are equipped with dressers and night stands. The first master bedroom has a king bed with a ceiling fan and ensuite private bathroom with double sinks, a roman tub and walk-in showers and private toilet. The second master bedroom has a queen bed and a private ensuite bathroom. Both master bedrooms have HD flat screen TVs. All the bedrooms have new linnens and comforters since we purchased the home. All the bedrooms have newly installed laminate flooring for imporved breathability while sleeping. The four bedrooms and queen sleeper sofa comfortably provides sleeping capacity for up to 10 guests.
The home is equipped with cable HDTV in all bedrooms, air conditioning, WIFI internet access, and unlimited long distance calling to the USA and Canada. The 3 bathrooms are equipped with white bath and face towels. The house comes ready with place settings, cutlery, cups, linnens, and towels to accomodate 10 guests.
A double garage houses a washing machine and dryer. The garage has been converted into a games room with a pool table, air hockey, ping pong, couch and pub table for playing cards.
For young children, the home has a highchair, portable folding playpen, and stroller.
We have added a new A/C unit, new pool heater, and new outdoor aluminum patio furniture. We have remodeled the Kitchen, King bedroom, and Queen bedroom with new stainless steel appliances and new bedroom furniture.
My wife Amanda and I purchased our Disney Forest Home at Emerald Island, Kissimmee to enjoy the wonders of Disney with our now four young boys. I am a Canadian Chartered Accountant and my wife is an Insurance Underwriter. Family time is important to us with our children and we hope that those that rent our property will treasure the memories of their Disney family vacations as we do. We take pride in our property ownership and are constantly upgrading the features in our house to create an even greater vacation experience for our guests.

We selected Emerald Island for ownership as we preferred a gated and guarded community for safety issues with very close proximity to the Disney resort parks and local Orlando attractions. We wanted an environment where we felt we were on vacation and the luxury at Emerald Island provided exactly that. We have a very short walk to the Resort Clubhouse to enjoy a drink and snack at the community pool/sauna/spa, the nature walk is fabulous and peaceful, we love playing tennis, and the community is surrounded by water making additional development impossible to protect the exclusivity and privacy of the Emerald Island Resort.
Our property is unique to other vacation homes in the community as we back onto the conservation forest/nature walk. While other properties face the backyards of homes, have exposure to wind due to open space, or do not have day long sunlight, our backyard is peaceful and private with day long exposure to the sun so you really can relax when taking a swim or enjoying the upgraded Whirlpool Jacuzzi jet spa. Our house has undergone a full painting, replacement of carpet in all common areas with tile or laminate flooring, new leather furniture, new area rugs, two (2) new HD LCD Big Screen TVs one with Blu-Ray player and the other with DVD player, new kitchen furniture, new linnens & towels, new coffee table set, new kitchen small appliances, new home pictures and decorations, new pool aluminum patio furniture & pool accessories, new automated pool & spa heater, new AC, and updated landscaping. The AC is a new 4 Ton A/C unit to properly cool the home and new Pool/Spa Heater. Our guests can also enjoy WIFI Internet and Unlimited Long Distance calls to the USA and Canada to keep in touch with relatives or your business affairs at home. Our floor plan offers 1,935 square feet of living space on a single level and with no stairs, improves access for elderly, handicapped, wheelchair guests and provides for a cooler living environment. Our home has only tile and laminate flooring with no carpet in living areas. We are comitted to keepying our home clean and updated for the full enjoyment of our guests.
We had a wonderful time and your home could not have been more perfect. We really appreciate how easy you made the rental process and the cleanliness of the home. It was a fantastic vacation and we hope we get a chance to stay again.
This house on Emerald Island Resort is spacious, clean and has everything you could need for a family holiday.
The bedrooms are tastefully decorated and master has a huge tub and shower.
The pool and hot tub were a fantastic temperature and lovely to come back to after a busy day, or to start the day off before heading out. Owners were quick to respond to all of our questions before we went, and we didn't encounter any problems while we were there.
Highly recommended for families wanting their own space who want to be minutes away from Disney.

Beautiful outlook at the back onto wooded area so not over looked. Pool and hot tub clean and heated perfectly. Not much room to eat outside, but 2 tables inside.
Location perfect for Disney, and not far from Sea World. Our 5th time staying in the Kissimmeee/192 area so knew all the short cuts into Disney which is very useful. Late checkout arranged which was really helpful. We didn't use the clubhouse facility, but staff in there were polite on check in and out.

Very close to disney- house was perfect for evenings after long days at the park. pool was a must for the kids, and the air conditioning works! :) Also has 2 separate television areas (bonus) and a TV most/if not all bedrooms. Owners very easy to work with. Highly recommended.
We stayed for two weeks at this Emerald Island Resort Home in March 2015. The home was spacious with all necessary amenities and the management company was very responsive to any questions. The pool was heated and included an attached hot tub, and both were very clean. The house is centrally located to all theme parks, so not a lot of long drives to get where you want to go. The kids spent the day either at Universal or Disney and would spend the night in the pool and spa. It was a very enjoyable stay with great weather and I would recommend this house to families planning a vacation in the Orlando area.
We stayed at the home for one week with 6 adults and 4 children. The layout was excellent in supporting our large group. The home had all the necassary items needed for our stay including a fantastic heated pool and hot tub.
The location was great since 8 of the 10 were visiting Disneyworld during our stay.

We've rented homes in the Orlando/Kissimmee area for the last 9 years and this one is the first one that we're going to rent again next year. For us it's like being at home. Base Rate for Low Season or Long Term stays (4 weeks +) is $125US per Night. Please email for rate quote as rates are higher for summer, golf (Jan,Feb,April,May) and holiday seasons (Dec Holiday Season, March Break Month, Memorial Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, Labor Day, July 4). All rate details are posted on my website.
$300 (+ Tax) due at reservation for each 7 night or less; balance due 8 weeks prior to arrival date. For longer term stays, please ask for confirmation of reservation deposit & remainder balance due date.
Separate $300 Refundable Damage Deposit also due 8 weeks prior to arrival. This deposit is refunded within 10 days of your departure once our management company verifies no damage has occurred.
